Professional long term dog sitter!
I am new to the area, but not new to dog sitting! I have been dog sitting and assisting dog groomers for about ten years. I have one year of formal veterinary technician experience and several years of experience fostering dogs. This has given me increased confidence caring for dogs with medical conditions that require administration of medicine and also dogs with varying levels of behavioral issues. I have the most experience with large to giant breed dogs but am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have cared for puppies with loads of energy to seniors who simply want a couch to relax on. I know the difficulty in finding reliable pet care that leaves you and your furry family members at ease and would be happy to keep them calm, stress free, and happy in your home! Meet and greets are required for all new bookings. House sitting is my preference but I am open to boarding in my home and drop in visits on a case by case basis.

I have two resident dogs of my own. One is a senior and one is younger and more full of energy. I am very used to varying levels of exercise needs. I am committed to providing a great experience for you and your pets!

Marisa is a wonderful pet sitter. We were totally comfortable leaving our Layla with her for a week while we were on vacation and she didn’t disappoint. Layla was well cared for and looked happy in all of the pictures Marisa sent. I would absolutely hire Marisa again and highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work remotely full time so I can provide frequent potty breaks if needed! I am available most weekends and will do my best to accommodate bookings on weekdays. For all weekday bookings, I need the flexibility to return to my house for short periods of time.
