I’m Marisa 🐾 I’ve been professionally working with animals since 2017 and officially began building my own client base in 2024 after years of kennel management and hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Animals have always been my passion, and I truly love what I do. Pet care is not just a side hobby for me...this is my full-time career and business. My clients never have to worry about pet care being pushed aside for another job, changing schedules, or limited availability. Before going fully independent, I spent years managing a busy dog kennel where I worked with everything from puppies to seniors, shy rescues, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, strong pullers, medical cases, and large playgroups. That experience taught me how important patience, structure, safety, and understanding body language truly are. One of the things I’m most proud of is my ability to build trust with dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding. Some pets warm up immediately, while others need calm energy, consistency, and time and I genuinely enjoy building those relationships. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before our visits begin. Whether I’m in your home or caring for your pet during a walk, I maintain a calm and controlled environment, always keeping their emotional and physical safety in mind. I closely monitor interactions, use secure leashes and harnesses, and follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medication, or preferred walking routes. I never leave pets unattended and always keep a close eye on their body language to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. I also send frequent photo and video updates, so you’ll always feel confident and informed while you're away.

Marisa was a great cat sitter for our cat. She was very responsive, took the time to meet with us beforehand to go over details and logistics, and already knew how to use our Whisker Litter-Robot, which made us feel very comfortable. Our cat seemed happy and well cared for when we got home, and we’d definitely book with her again!
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about our dog sitter, Marisa. She consistently delivers 5-star service, but this last experience truly proved just how incredible she is. We missed our flight home and suddenly found ourselves stuck, knowing we wouldn’t be back for another full day. It was an incredibly stressful situation — all we could think about was getting home to our dogs. With only about 10 hours’ notice before she would need to head back over, Marisa graciously allowed us to book her again and stepped in without hesitation. She absolutely saved us. I’ve probably booked Marisa at least five times now, and every single experience has been exceptional. That consistency and trust mean everything to us. Not only is she unbelievably reliable, but her communication is flawless. She keeps us updated, responds quickly, and gives us complete peace of mind every time she cares for our dogs. Most importantly, she genuinely goes above and beyond. It’s clear she truly cares about our pets as if they were her own. In a moment when we really needed help, Marisa showed up for us — and for our dogs — in the best possible way. We are so grateful for her professionalism, flexibility, and heart. Marisa was absolutely wonderful with my dogs! I’m so grateful she was able to fit in a last-minute meet and greet that made me feel confident in booking her. My shy Covid rescue, who doesn’t usually warm up to strangers, was surprisingly comfortable with her right away. She was patient and attentive with both Teddy and Forrest, and it was clear they liked her from the start. I booked her for 30-minute visits, and she always stayed the full time, sending me 10–15 photos each visit so I could see how happy and comfortable my dogs were. Her communication, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals really stood out. I will definitely be booking her again and, with a trip coming up later this month, I already plan on having her dog sit for us. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I'm happy to say since becoming so busy caring for animals I was able to quit my other job and am now available every day of the week. However I do have regular dogs clients that I walk daily so if I am doing an overnight stay I will have other daily drop in visits through out the day/evening. If you need someone to stay with your dog 24/7 I am not the best match. I AM AVAILABLE ON HOLIDAYS! THIS IS MY FULLTIME JOB!!
