I’ve been around animals my entire life and have had both dogs and cats since I was a young child. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of providing consistent care, patience, and love. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities for friends, family, and neighbors. My responsibilities have included feeding, refreshing water, administering oral medications when needed, taking dogs on walks, cleaning litter boxes, picking up after pets, playing with them, providing companionship, and making sure they stick to their normal routines so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. A few months ago, my boyfriend and I found an 8-year-old dog who was a stray in the woods. He lives with my boyfriend so you won’t have to worry about your pet in case they do not do well with other dogs. Welcoming him into our lives has been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me even more about earning a dog’s trust, being patient, and understanding that every pet has unique needs and a different personality. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
