A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs and just playing around in the house with cats as well! Spending time with the pets while their owner is away is very important to me. I’ve seen a lot of anxious pets working in a shelter setting, some animals just need a person nearby to feel more secure. Gaining their trust takes consistent work and I am willing to do that.

Hello! (The rhino in my picture is alive and well and was undergoing a procedure.) I was previously employed as a veterinary technician and am well versed in administering medications, injections, understanding animal body language, etc. Im used to seeing many different furry faces everyday, and lots of different personalities! I am trained to recognize illness signs in dogs and cats, especially in the case of an emergency. I was raised always having animals from horses and ducks, to dogs and cats. I currently have my own kitty who means the world to me. I love animals and hope to stay in an animal career field.

Marisa house sat taking care of my crazy pack of dogs. I have four and they all have varying needs as well as energy levels. My 16.5 year old pomeranian is considered "hospice" and requires a lot of extra care, medications and diapers. My other three include two "teenage" age chocolate labs! Marisa was WONDERFUL with all of them. With my pom its so stressful to travel not knowing if he will get all his medications, will he eat, Marisa took so much of that stress off of me. She knew how to deal with his medications as well as how important it was that he get them. I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Maris she was amazing and we plan to book her again!
