I’ve had animals my whole life and have always aspired to work in veterinary care. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Yorkies to gentle Great Danes, and cats with every personality, from aloof and sassy to cuddly and energetic. My love for animals has always been a constant in my life and continues to grow every day. I currently have 4 cats of my own and have extensive hands-on experience caring for multiple animals at once. I’ve fostered three litters of stray kittens, as well as a new mama cat who had just given birth and was found in a shed. Each of my fosters ended up becoming “failed fosters,” which is how my little cat family grew. I’m also the trusted friend for pet sitting and animal advice, often the first call when someone needs help with their pets. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.

I focus on maintaining a calm, safe, and familiar environment so pets can stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their routine is preserved. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter care, medication administration, walks, and any specific preferences each pet is used to. I am very attentive to behaviour and comfort levels, and I adjust my approach based on each animal’s personality, whether they are shy, independent, or highly social. I also prioritize trust and communication, providing updates and making sure pet parents feel reassured while they are away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, understood, and cared for in their own environment so their routine feels as normal as possible.

I can’t recommend Marisa highly enough! She has looked after my cat several times and I always feel completely at ease knowing my furry family member is with her. I work full time, but I am fully committed to providing attentive and reliable care for your pets. I am available for visits and care in the evenings after work on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends. On weekdays, I can ensure consistent evening check-ins, feeding, playtime, litter care, walks if needed, and any other routine your pet is used to. On weekends, I have open and flexible availability and can dedicate more time for extended visits, extra attention, and maintaining your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. My goal is to make sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away, with dependable care built around their needs.
