Hi! I’m Marisa, I’m an animal lover to my core. I have knowledge and experience caring for animals through my employment at multiple pet stores, research, and caring for my own animals. I’ve spent time volunteering at the human society. I have pet sat for friends and family as well as grew up in a home where we ethically bred dogs and provided boarding for dogs. I have a dog of my own, a goofy couch potato named Nova. She loves to make friends and play with other dogs. Friendly with cats. Fully vaccinated. 🐾 Five Stars for a Fantastic Dog Walker! I can't say enough good things about Marisa. From the very first walk, she showed genuine care, professionalism, and a true love for dogs. My furbaby absolutely adores her and gets excited every time she arrives. She's always punctual, communicative, and goes the extra mile —whether it’s sending cute photo updates or making sure my dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. Marisa was wonderful! She took great care of my pup Dover, was very responsive, established a meet and great prior to our walk/board, and kept me up to date with pictures/messages. She was considerate of all of his needs, and made sure he was safe. I know my pup was in great hands and I will definitely be booking with Marissa again! Would highly recommend her.
Marisa took excellent quality, loving care of our shih tzu Kele, miniature Aussie Finnley and cat Autumn while we were away. She took our dogs for their daily walks and kept us updated with great pictures. It shows how much she loves animals. We will definitely be using her again to watch our furbabies and highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am currently home full-time. Other than going out for an hour or two at a time for errands, I usually stick around the house or yard. I love being outdoors and dog walking gets me out of the house.

I have a large fenced backyard. I know of many paths and fenced dog parks near me. I have access to reliable transportation and don’t mind driving around the city for in home visits.

A typical day
I love spending time outdoors, going for long walks and hikes. I’m used to very high energy dogs. I’ve used lots of treat puzzles and stimulating activities for my pets. I like to cater to the pets interests whether that is cuddling on the couch, playing fetch, tug, or running the yard!
