Senior's Best Friend
Now a darling little old man, I've been caring for my senior dog, Manu, since he was a puppy. Throughout the past 15 years, I have regularly attended to his needs, which as a young dog included hour-long daily walks and plenty of zoomie time, and now have graduated to include complications such as a heart murmur and luxating patellas. I brush his teeth and make sure he gets his important medications daily; dispensing medicine is a walk in the park for me! I have a lot of experience checking on doggos in their homes and making sure that they have their daily meals, bathroom breaks, and of course, play time! I also have experience with caring for other lovely animal friends, such as bearded dragons, tortoises, fishies, kitties, and hamsters. I love animals with all my heart, and it would be an honor to help you care for yours.

I treat caring for others' pets in their home with the utmost respect and honor, as it is a great privilege and one that I take very seriously. Pets are family, and your home will always be treated as a sacred place that holds your dearest loved ones. Whenever I am entrusted to watch over pet companions in their homes, I make sure to leave everything better than when I found it, and I guarantee that there will be no traces of my presence left; any and all messes or disorder will be thoroughly cleaned and set to rights. Again, it is an honor to be entrusted to watch your family in your home; I will not forget that I am a guest and will treat this duty with all the care it requires!

Marissa was an absolute pro while taking care of our fur babies! She paid close attention to each pet’s individual needs while keeping everyone on a regular schedule. Marissa’s kind and gentle nature was exactly what we were looking for when having someone in our home caring for our pets. Her communication was excellent with frequent updates and did not hesitate to ask us questions. She will be our immediate go-to for our next trip.
Marisa stayed with our 2 dogs for a long weekend. She sent many pictures and videos along with updates throughout. It’s always nice to feel like your dogs are being loved and cared for while away and I definitely felt that way with Marisa. One of the best sitters we’ve had on Rover. Would definitely book again.
Marisa tried her best to get Nori walking each day. For some reason, Nori doesn’t like to go walk with any dog walker other than my husband. She doesn’t walk with me either😫 Marisa was so patient, and kept at it until she got comfortable enough to walk and follow her lead. We will definitely ask Marisa to help out again.
Marisa is wonderful! She was so communicative and share lots of photos. I would recommend her and will definitely be rebooking!!

Schedule
Right now, I have full-time availability to care for your pet companions, as I am still seeking entry-level work after finishing a year of full-time volunteer service with the AmeriCorps and graduating from college. I am happy to accommodate to your schedule! I am flexible and can even cover weekends and weeknights.
