I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and about 9 years of experience with cats. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I understand daily routines, different personalities, and the importance of safe, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and recognizing pet behavior and needs. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away.

I can’t recommend Marisa highly enough. We have senior dog and a very anxious rescue—both of whom require daily medications and extra attention. She has cared for them dozens of times and knowing they are in her care gives us complete peace of mind. Marisa goes far beyond simply meeting their basic needs. She genuinely cares about their well-being and always takes extra time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. She understands that being away from their humans can be stressful for dogs, and she has such a calm, patient, and compassionate way with them. She also communicates incredibly well, checking in frequently when needed and keeping us updated, which gives us even more reassurance while we’re away. As dog owners, it’s never easy leaving your pets in someone else’s hands, but Marisa is one of the very few people we fully trust with ours. Any family would be lucky to have her caring for their pets.
We have used Marisa multiple times when we go out of town on vacation or for work. She always keeps in contact when she is going to visit our dogs, takes pictures to send us, and lets us know how they are doing during her visits with them. She always goes multiple times a day, as we have three dogs spanning from the ages of 6 years old to 2 years old that need lots of attention. The longest time we have been gone was 7 days for Hawaii, and I was a little anxious about leaving our pups for so long. Marisa quickly put my mind at ease the first time she went over. She sent us videos and pictures, and kept us updated for the entirety of our vacation even with the major time zone difference. I will always choose Marisa as our dog’s sitter, as they all three love her and she treats them as her own.
She was very helpful and good with our cats they love seeing her when she comes over . She is like family, she is who we call when we want to have our cats watched.
Marisa has watched my cats before and she did a fantastic job, always caring,very loving. Recommend ten out of ten stars. You won’t be disappointed.
