Trust a Loving Caregiver
You know your animals better than anyone. Their routine, what throws them off, and how hard it is to hand that over to someone you just met. Most sitters are fine. But "fine" isn't why you're still reading profiles. Cats are what I'm best at, and there's a section on that below. Beyond them I've run chicken coops for clients, including one where I gathered 30 eggs before breakfast and had the coop shut again while there was still light. Rabbits, ducks, birds and fish too. I like learning the small logic of a place and how the animals fit into the rhythm of it. I take one household at a time and settle into its routines instead of fitting a house around a string of other commitments. I came up in software, so gate codes, cameras, thermostats, networks and irrigation controls are ordinary to me, and I've repaired home generators. When a PSPS hits, the gate stops opening and the fridge starts thawing. That's a morning you don't need to think about. I'm comfortable noticing what's changed, working out what needs doing, and handling the ordinary problems that never made it into the instructions. I'm discreet about the homes I stay in. Housekeepers, landscapers and anyone else who normally works at the property should be able to carry on without reorganizing around me. Clients usually describe me as "very tidy and respectful of the home." Most of my work now is repeat. Eight households have me back, and it gets better each time, because by the third stay I'm not learning the house anymore, I'm just running it. If you're reading this without a trip booked, that's the right time to meet. Nobody wants to be introducing a new sitter the week before they leave for a month. If it's easier, start me on a short stay while you're still nearby. Long bookings are the ones I like best. My longest was 7 months and I was sorry to leave. The twentieth ordinary morning matters as much as the first. Certified in CPR and first aid by the American Red Cross. I've never had to use it, but if your cat eats something they shouldn't at 2am I already know what to do. Tell me about them. What they're like, what they're afraid of, and what they do when they're happy.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Cats thrive on routine. That's why I come to you. Your cat stays in their familiar environment with the same sunbeams, same scratching post, same schedule. Feeding times, playtime, litter box maintenance, all exactly as you do it. The house gets the same care. I'll water your plants, bring the mail and packages in, and leave everything as I found it. Dusk is the appointment I don't move. A coop gets shut while there's still light, and I check the latch every time. Every afternoon I walk the property. Outbuildings, gates, water, anything that looks different from yesterday. Cameras: I'm completely comfortable with common-area cameras, a lot of my clients use them. I just ask that any cameras are disclosed upfront. Before you leave I'll know your Genasys zone and I'll have the county alerts on for your address, so if a warning comes for your zone I hear it the same moment you would have. In fire weather we can put the rest in writing at the meet and greet: which animals go first, what they travel in, where the carriers live, and where they'd go. You should be able to enjoy your trip without checking your phone every hour.
Ratings and reviews
Marion was a kind and special caregiver. Her experience and warm manner with senior dogs especially, provided me the comfort of knowing my 15 year old doggie and my home were in capable hands.

Marion is an excellent sitter! My two cats absolutely adored her within hours of her stay and she gave great updates. Highly recommend and would book again!

Marion was wonderful! Our cats and home were well looked after. We felt confident being away, knowing that our kitties were being taken care of. Marion was communicative and followed all our instructions perfectly. Thank you so much, Marion, we'll definitely have her back!

Marion watched my kitties in my home for a second time. She is thoughtful, communicative & my kitties love her. I could go away with peace of mind knowing that the kitties were well cared for. She is very tuned in to the cats & it was great to see her getting their personalities. She is also very tidy & respectful of the home. The kitties already miss her! Thank you Marion!

Marion was lovely. She took the girls on so many adventures, we weren’t sure if they’d be happy to have us come home! I can’t recommend Marion highly enough 🌟

Marion was great with my shy cat & overconfident cat. I felt at ease while away knowing they were well cared for. She was able to pill my older cat & win his shyness over. She is an excellent cat sitter, very communicative.

Schedule
I work from home, which means your cat isn't alone all day waiting for me to come back. I only book with one client at a time, so nobody is sharing my attention. I'm there, as the same presence they're used to having around. That matters most on a property where something has to happen at first light and again at dusk.
