Safe Loving Home Care!
Hi, I'm Bettie! I've been around dogs my entire life and have over 40 years of hands-on experience caring for, training, and working with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I've helped many dogs work through behavioural challenges, including leash manners, confidence building, socialization, and general obedience. My approach is patient, calm, and focused on understanding each dog's individual needs. I have also volunteered with the SPCA, where I gained valuable experience working with rescue dogs from a variety of backgrounds and temperaments. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I've had pets since I was born and have cared for countless dogs in my home long before joining Rover. Friends, family, neighbours, and referrals have trusted me to provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for their pets. Whether your dog needs a relaxing place to stay, extra attention, exercise, companionship, or someone experienced with behavioural concerns, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!

Ratings and reviews
Marion did an amazing job, more than I could expect from a regular pet sitter. She took ownership of taking care of Pandora, my dog, and gave her such an incredible time. I like that! 100% recommend her. I have to travel out of town regularly and now I know with whom to leave my pet :) thanks!!!

Schedule
As a retiree, pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I'm home most of the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and attention. Every day is an adventure, whether we're going for walks, enjoying playtime, working on good manners, or simply relaxing together. Caring for dogs isn't just something I do—it's something I genuinely love and have dedicated my life to.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. As someone who is retired and home throughout the day, I provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and individualized attention. I strive to create a calm, safe, and enriching environment where dogs can relax, play, explore, and enjoy activities that match their energy level and personality. Whether your dog enjoys leisurely walks, playtime, mental stimulation, or simply relaxing with company, I adapt to their needs. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and routines to help your dog feel comfortable and at home during their stay.

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and supervised care throughout the day. We start with walks and outdoor time, followed by play, enrichment, relaxation, and lots of affection. Every dog’s routine is tailored to their age, energy level, and individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home during their stay.

- Please let me know about your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, allergies, medications, and any special care requirements. I’d also like to know how they interact with other dogs and people, whether they’re comfortable off leash or at dog parks, and if there are any behaviors, fears, or triggers I should be aware of. The more I know, the better I can make their stay safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
