I am happy to meet a dog or cat before working with them if that feels necessary. I understand that not all pets may be receptive to newcomers right off the bat. Please let me know if any medication needs to be dispensed.
A typical day
I love taking extended walks usually between one - two hours, if possible of course! I stay active with the animals at home as well, playing with them and their toys or even just relaxing at the end of the day together. I make sure that the animals have plenty of attention and care.

Hello! My name is Mario, I'm 34 years old and have been living in the east bay area for the majority of my life. I've grown up around all kinds of dogs from our family owned Jack Russel's to pet sitting for family friends with larger breeds such as German Shepherds. I have experience volunteering with TVAR at the Dublin Animal shelter where I would help socialize and exercise all kinds of dogs.

Mario was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. He took great care of our pup on our 6-day trip and sent us photos of their walks and hang outs. He even cleaned up after himself so we came home to a clean house and a happy dog. We will definitely request dog sitting from Mario again!
Mario was a great caretaker for Guapa! He was attentive to both our needs, responsible about following routines (and medication instructions), and very good about sending daily updates with pics! Not only was he a friendly caretaker, but also brought in a calm energy that informed his quality of care. I highly recommend Mario! 😃

I cannot recommend Mario highly enough! He cared for my two dogs, Draper and Kona, for two weeks, while I vacationed to Japan. It’s always stressful to leave your pets, but from the moment we met, it was clear he had a calm, attentive, and loving energy toward my dogs. During the two weeks, Mario kept me updated with regular messages, pictures, and even funny little anecdotes about my pups’ personalities, which gave me such peace of mind. Both dogs looked so happy and relaxed in every photo, and it was evident they were getting plenty of love and attention. When I returned, my dogs were in great spirits, and I could tell they had been well cared for. Mario also went the extra mile to leave my home clean and organized, and even left my dogs with two little toys, which they both appreciated. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated to your pets’ well-being, look no further. I will definitely be reaching out to him again next time I need a sitter!
