Hello pet owners and lovers! I do not have a preference when it comes to dog sizes, I own a small dog and currently live with a big dog when I’m at college. I have more pet care experience with smaller dogs but I have had more experiences with bigger dogs ever since starting Rover. If considered for a booking, I personally make sure that your pet feels loved and cared for every second I am with them.

Some qualities that I can say that I am proud of having is staying calm and being patient in any given situation. Seen in many experiences, pets will react the same way that the owner/caregiver will react, which is why it is better to not panic or freak out in any given circumstance. As well as being a psychology major, I have studied and learned about identifying behaviors not only with humans but with animals as well in multiple classes these past two years in college. I understand that sometimes pets simply do not like to get touched as much or may not be super comfortable with a stranger around, which is absolutely fair and respectable. Overall, I am very excited and prepared to get to know your pet(s) and be able to build a trust and see what they love. Not only do I want to build a trust with them, but their owners as well. I am also bilingual, fluent in Spanish. I love taking the funniest pictures of your pets, but do not worry I will make sure to add the cute ones as well.

Mario was awesome! Very communicative, showed up on time for every walk, and was able to handle my large and energetic dog with no problem. Highly recommend!

Hello, I am Mario Sr., his father. Mario wanting to do dog sitting is no surprise to me. Mario has always liked animals when he was younger and always begged for a dog, and on his 10th birthday, we got him gizmo. As Mario has grown up and become a young adult in college, I see that he has changed a lot. Not going to lie, having him back for the summer has been great since he can finally take gizmo in his daily walks and I can finally get some rest. It is always so funny to see gizmo wag his tail like crazy when Mario comes back home. Mario is a very fun and charismatic person to be around and does not like to disappoint or let his friends and family down.
Hi I’m Melanie! I own a toy poodle and a boxer. Mario has been great in taking care of both my dogs. He is a very responsible and punctual person who always answers his phone whenever I contact him. Both my dogs love him and are very comfortable with him. I have trusted him to watch over them when I am out of town and he always does a great job taking care of them. I have known him for almost two years and I fully trust him to take care of my dogs.
