Marin did a good job taking care of our animals. She was able to spend a lot of time with them and made sure they felt safe and secure over the 4th of July holiday. We will use her again.

Marin was amazing!! Ollie was so happy spending a couple of days with her and her pups.

At first, things seemed great with our sitter. Communication was smooth leading up to the booking, and she checked in the day of to ask what time she should arrive for her two-night stay. We agreed on a time, but she ended up showing up over an hour late without any notice. I honestly thought she might’ve flaked or that something had happened, so I reached out just to make sure she was okay. She replied, apologizing and saying her car wouldn’t start but that she was on her way. When she got here (about 30 minutes later), she mentioned she lived only 3 minutes away, which made the excuse a little confusing. Still, she seemed sweet, and since we had a wedding to get to, I decided to let it slide. Unfortunately, things just went downhill from there. She didn’t follow some of the key instructions we left, like harnessing our youngest pup before letting him out. We later saw on our cameras that she had to chase after him in the backyard, which could’ve been really dangerous if he’d run out front instead. At one point, she left the house saying she needed to grab her toothbrush, but she didn’t come back for over 2.5 hours. Again, she supposedly lived 3 minutes away. I wouldn’t have cared if she wanted to step out or see friends, but it felt like she wasn’t being honest. When I checked in, she once again said her car wouldn’t start but then showed up back to the house right after my text. By that point, my fiancé and I were so uneasy that we decided to cut our trip short and come home early. The worst part? When we got back, we realized our dogs hadn’t been fed properly. We have three dogs, and each of their meals are pre-labeled with their names and portions. Out of the three food bags, only one had been touched, and based on what was left, it looked like she either skipped a meal or underfed them altogether. I was so clear about feeding instructions that I’m still in disbelief. She was nice in person, but incredibly unreliable. Between not following directions, poor communication, and neglecting their meals, I just can’t recommend her. We’re honestly debating asking Rover for a partial refund since we had to end our trip early to make sure our dogs were safe.

Marin is great! She sends pictures and really takes care of both our house and our dog!

Marin was so communicative and took great care of both our dog and our house. Our dog loved her and had a great weekend. We will be using Marin again for sure!
