I am in my final semester of a doctoral program and completing an internship in the Pine Lake area from 8-5 Monday through Friday. If you live close enough, I will do my best to make it home over the lunch hour to let your pup out and give them some love, but sometimes I am unable to make it back as I only have a 30-minute break. Typically if I am unavailable to stop in over lunch break, pet families will find a family member or friend in advance to pop in and let their dog(s) out mid-day if that is the dog's normal routine to alleviate long days inside. Rest assured your pets will get plenty of love and attention in the mornings before work, in the evenings and on the weekends.

Pet safety is my number one priority! I love to maintain your dog's routine as much as possible, and keep them exercised and well-loved. I understand that it can be tough for a pet when their owner is gone, so I want to do everything I can to make it as smooth and enjoyable as possible for your pet and for you! Lists or instructions and emergency contact info or vet numbers are always appreciated so I can be prepared for anything and keep your pets happy and healthy. You can trust me to keep everything safe and in order, with happy wagging tails ready to greet you when you get back home!

Please let me know ahead of time if there are any specific ways your dog likes to warm up to people. My dog did not like confrontation, so he preferred to be ignored until he approached you. Every dog is different! Please also let me know if your dog has strong behaviors so that I know what to expect before visiting them and know how I should interact with them. Does your dog enjoy getting out of the house? Let me know, and if they have a record of “good dog” behaviors in public, I may even take them on a mini adventure around town with your permission!
A typical day
I love going for walks, biking, or to the dog park. I am new to the area, so recommendations are always welcome for good places to explore with your dog! I enjoy training with dogs as well, so please let me know what you’re working on, and I’ll help your pup practice their new skills!

Pets are a core member of many families, and I have come to understand the importance of families needing a reliable pet-sitter who will provide high-quality care and lots of love for their pet while they are away. Along with my own cat and dog who I cared for their whole lives, I have been a consistent house/pet sitter for many family, friends, and mutual friends through word of mouth! Now that my pets have passed and I live a busy college lifestyle, I've gotten in the habit of borrowing friends' dogs for a day or two at a time simply to have a pet around! I love getting outside and being active, so you can rest assured your pet will get plenty of fresh air and lots of love! I am a doctoral student who plans to get a pet of my own again after graduation once I have a job, but in the meantime I enjoy caring for other peoples' furry family and treating them like my own :) Most of my pet care is arranged through word of mouth, so my Rover numbers don't accurately reflect the quantity of pet-sitting I actually perform. I am known for taking lots of photos and ensuring that families know their pets are happy and healthy all throughout their time away from home. Communication is a top priority for me to ensure your peace of mind.

Marin was a great sitter! Our dogs absolutely love her!! We were able to enjoy our time away from home worry free and received the best updates with photos of all the fun they were having together.
