Information Marilyn R. would like to know about your pet

What is your fur-baby's temperament? Does your baby play well with others (dogs, cats, people, kids)? Has your baby been to a dog park or a regular park? Would you like them to have that experience? Does your pooch pull when being walked on a leash? If you have a muscular doggy and he/she is a puller, I DO NOT use choke or pinch collars! I prefer the SENSE-Harness or the Gentle Leader.

A typical day

I love trips to the local dog park. Nothing makes me happier than to see a pup run free, socialize, and play in a large, safe, open environment (with permission of course). Walks in areas pre-designated by fur-mommies and/or daddies or just a good game of fetch in the safety of his/her own back yard.

Mature, Loving Pet Nanny

Pet care experience

Welcome to my Rover page! My name is Marilyn and I consider myself a Pet Nanny rather than a Pet Sitter. Before you read on, I'd like to be up front. I do have a full-time day job M-F. If your babies aren't accustomed to being alone for extended periods, i may not be your first choice. That being said, I LOVE fur-babies and think of them as as nothing less than furry children. Not "Just Pets". When mom/dad have to go away for awhile, your little bundle of fluff may be stressed out or have separation anxiety. Well, I'm here to help you out with that. My approach with any new client is first and foremost, to earn your baby's trust and begin to build a relationship with them. When you have to leave, your best friend will be happy and more at ease knowing that they still have someone familiar to give them lots of love, cuddles and most importantly, TREATS! I have years of experience and love to send you pictures and videos so that you are less worried about your baby(ies) and can have a better time away. What could be better than that? A happy, wagging tail to greet you when you get home of course! ^..^ My time for your babies are as follows: I work M-F from 7:30-4:00. I head straight to the babies after work for potty time and dinner. On occasion, I may leave short periods of time to do a short drop in but then back to the overnights to spend the rest of my time cuddling and loving your fur child. I don't to boarding in my home so that is an N/A. However, I keep a close eye on your babies while they are in my care. We either stay and play in the area that is designated by moms and dads. Gated back yards or walking in designated neighborhoods. Iake sure harnesses, collars, leashes are all secure before we set out for daily exercise/walks. I take lots of pictures and videos of your babies as "Proof of Life", LOL 😄

This was our first time hiring a catsitter and we are so glad to we did it with Marilyn! When we met, it was clear that she has a genuine love of animals. Her communication was great and she is very experienced and highly professional. We also appreciated her willingness to do little things like bring in the mail and water the plants while we were away too. I have no hesitation recommending Marilyn to anyone needing a pet sitter!

Marylin did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were gone! Extra communicative and went the extra mile to help with our more emergent issues with our cat health.

I don’t know what we would do without Marilyn! Our cats are always well cared for and safe when we leave town. They love her!
