I have had the privilege of being owned by many wonderful dogs most of my adult life. All different types and sizes (from teacup poodles to Rottweilers and Bernese Mountain) and I've loved them all in return. Some were found abandoned close to our home, while some were picked up in the absolute middle of nowhere. We have taken some dogs when the current owner could no longer look after them, and we have saved many from shelters when it was “T” day. We have also rescued many cats over the years. The old debate of “which animal is better, cats or dogs will likely never be solved in my lifetime! I prefer to look after a pet in their own home. When their owner is absent this can often cause distress so being in their home turf surrounded by all their familiar smells and surroundings gives them a level of comfort they can't obtain being in someone else's home no matter how well that person may care for them. Home is where your wonderful pet is happiest, and my intent is to keep them that way while you are away. They will be treated and cared for as if they were my own so they will be very happy and very much spoiled!! I’ve had numerous family & friends tell me that if there is such a thing as reincarnation they hope they come back as “One of Marilyns’ Dogs” A pet’s greatest joy is being around the people they love. All they ask in return is that you spend time with them and return some of that unending worship that they give so freely. They are truly our greatest friend in the world. Companion, athlete, clown, guardian, playmate, therapist, bed mate, snuggler, life long friend, cohort and anything else you need them to be.... We are so much happier when we have the love of a family pet.♡
