I am a lifelong dog owner and more recently dog grandma. I am a natural nurturer to all living creatures. I come to Rover with experience caring for a variety of breeds and personalities. I have experience caring for senior/ailing dogs. After a lengthy grieving period, I am ready to open my home and heart to some new furry friends.

Marilyn was tremendous! She did a great job watching my dog Charlie and I could tell he was very well cared for during his stay with her. She was flexible, communicative, and sent plenty of pictures to show how much fun she and Charlie were having. Will definitely book with Marilyn again in the future!
Marilyn was an absolute blessing! She accepted Smoky last minute after my original sitter canceled while I was here visiting from Florida for a family vacation. From the moment I met her, I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving him in her care. She kept me updated, sent pictures, took him on walks, and made sure he was happy and engaged. It was obvious Smoky truly enjoyed his time with her. She even told me he was such a joy and hated to see him leave, which meant so much to me and showed how much she truly cared for him. I truly appreciated the love and care she gave him. The next time I bring Smoky home, Marilyn will absolutely be my first and only choice. Highly recommend her!
Marilyn is an exceptional caregiver to both her human and fur babies (I should know since I am her daughter). She was the only person I trusted with my beloved dog Chloe during her tumultuous life (with various healthcare needs and personality quirks). She has what Cesar Milan would call “ calm assertive energy”. You truly could not ask for a better dog sitter. Both as a mother and as my trusted dog sitter, she has always exuded love and compassion. She is a natural nurturer with a medical background that always seems to know what to do in any situation. I would highly recommend her as a trusted caregiver to your beloved canine companions.

Zeitplan
I am currently retired and typically out of the home for no longer than three hour timeframes. I am able to provide frequent potty breaks and keep existing feeding schedules.

I have a fenced in yard for running around and playing. I also believe in structured leash walks if your dog is willing and able. I allow pets on the furniture and bed. I create a relaxed and comfortable environment with calm and loving energy.
