During our Meet and Greet, you can give me the details of care you want me to provide your fur babies. 🙂 If you have animals other than dogs or cats, or even a mini-zoo, then we can discuss their particular needs and care in detail at our Meet and Greet.

It is important to me that I duplicate your routine with your dog, cat, or other pet as much as possible; it helps them feel more secure and comfortable while you are away. They know what to expect. My knowing of any special needs, triggers, or anxieties, and how you help your pet with these issues is another need-to-know.

I love taking dogs along new, interesting, but safe paths, and letting them catch up on all the doggy "news" and scents in the area. If they have been in a crate for a while, getting them up and out and playing some is a must. Ear scratches, tummy rubs, and chin and ear rubs? Well, that's next...love'em, love'em, love'em...that's what they need to know. With cats, I like to spend time playing with them or just loving on them, whichever they go for...you know how cats are! It's all on their terms. ? Other pets? They also need to feel safe, secure, and loved until you get back home.

I don't know how people live without pets to love. I do know how important loving, trusted care is whenever you can't be with them. I love all animals, (although I would probably draw the line at a Komodo Dragon😊). I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, parakeets, parrots, and a magician's doves and rabbits. While volunteering at a wild bird rehab center, I even learned how to feed a baby hummingbird - that was amazing! (One side note: One of my testimonials calls me "Jo"; while in Denver, my clients knew me as "Jo", which is my middle name.)
