We raised our children with 2 dogs through their first 20 years. Now our grown children are doing the same. Dogs are so special and valuable for so many reasons ... such blessings and lessons shared. Our home and yard is eco-friendly, pet & people-friendly and comfortable too - mostly organic for over 22 years. I am delighted to share our blessings with you, your dog and family. Looking forward to hearing about & getting to know you and your dog. Note: I no longer take dogs that are on chemical prescriptions (or who wear a bodywifi device. Some herbal supplements like Glucosamine and Omega 3, I am ok with. It has been my experience, that some inflammation, aggressive behavior and skin conditions can sometimes be related to a dogs food. One of my dog guests was limping around for the first day. After checking with her Mom, we tried some backup gluten-free & healthy food I have and she no longer had the limp and stiffness.

Marilyn was amazing with our dog! We were nervous as this was our first time leaving our dog with someone else, but Marilyn's communication and pictures made us feel at ease, and it seemed like our dog enjoyed himself.

We are so grateful to find another Rover caretaker for Morgan! He's a senior citizen and has a special personality that can be a little hard to find the right match for. Marilyn took wonderful care of our older dog. He gets a little anxious and Marilyn did everything she could to make him comfortable during his stay with her. She kept us connected on how he was going and sent us regular pictures. We highly recommend Marilyn!
Marilyn is kind and patient. She cared about whether our dogs were happy--even our dog who decided to howl the first couple nights before settling in. Our dogs were happy to see us when we got back from our 9 day trip--but they weren't desperate which is how I know they got enough attention. Plus when you meet her you'll see how much she cares and pays attention to details. If you have a special needs dog, I'm confident she will do exactly as you ask. She has a secure backyard where your dogs safely can explore. She is a dog lover and a genuinely caring person. She isn't as responsive via the phone as many people, she is just not always on line--but if you give her time to respond, your experience will be totally worth it and your dogs will be safe and happy.

Schedule
I have a daily routine of exercise, meditation, food & meal preparation. I am currently working part-time from home. I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks, and are close to parks and regularly use them.

I have a large kitchen, deck and yard in a culdesac. 2 of the 5 homeowners have dogs. Our home (co-owned with our sons) has a whole-house water system that is healthy & nourishing for all . The yard is fenced with special places to play, explore and rest.
A typical day
We have a large back yard with two large circle paths that we walk, run and bike around. I regularly go out on walks in the neighborhood and to parks in the area, where dogs like to check out scents and smells. I am interested in any toys or games that your dog likes.
