Because I’m an online student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. My days are structured around classes and assignments, which means I can plan walks, playtime, feeding, and drop-in visits without conflict. On a weekly basis, I set aside consistent time for exercise and outdoor activity, which I love to share with dogs who enjoy walking, running, or playing fetch. I also build in plenty of time for companionship, so pets get not only the physical activity they need, but also affection and attention.

I believe pets feel happiest and most secure in their own environment, so when I care for them in your home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent and familiar. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walk times, medication, or favorite play activities—so your pet’s day feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I give plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also respecting the rules and boundaries you’ve set for your pet. Whether it’s curling up for some quiet companionship, playing in the yard, or going for walks, I make sure they get the balance of love and structure they need. I also treat your home with respect and care, keeping things tidy and secure while you’re gone. My goal is for you to return to a happy, relaxed pet and a home just as you left it.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know a few important things so I can give them the best experience possible. It’s helpful to understand their daily routine, such as feeding times, and walk schedules. I also ask about any health needs, like medications, allergies, or special care instructions, as well as their personality and behavior—whether they’re shy, playful, or energetic, and how they react to new people or other dogs. Knowing what type of walks or playtime they enjoy is especially important, whether that’s long neighborhood strolls, quick potty breaks, fetch in the yard, or tug-of-war with their favorite toy. I also like to hear about their comfort items, such as special treats, blankets, or toys, along with any house rules or training commands you’d like me to follow. The more I know about your pet’s needs and preferences, the easier it is for me to keep them safe, happy, and cared for just like they are at home with you.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs happy, active, and engaged while their owners are away. Depending on your pet’s personality and energy level, I can take them on neighborhood walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or chase with toys, or just spend time giving belly rubs and cuddles. If your dog enjoys training games or puzzles, I’m happy to include those for mental stimulation too. For more laid-back pets, I’ll provide gentle companionship, brushing, or simply sitting with them so they don’t feel alone. My goal is always to match the activities to what your pet enjoys most and keep them feeling loved, safe, and entertained.

I’ve been surrounded by dogs most of my life and have had the joy of owning and caring for several of my own over the years. Each one has taught me something new about patience, responsibility, and the unconditional love that dogs bring into a home. From raising puppies to providing comfort and care for senior dogs, I understand the unique needs that come with every stage of a dog’s life. Alongside caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. This has given me experience with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, and temperaments. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just providing companionship, I take pride in making sure every dog feels safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. As a responsible adult and online student, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to give consistent attention to pets in my care. Safety, reliability, and lots of love are my priorities—I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly.
