🛋️ My own dogs free-roam at home, and yours can to, as needed and with safety in mind. 🐕🦺🐕🐩 Through my years of fostering, I’ve become experienced at managing a multi-dog household safely, including around food and toy guarding situations. I've worked with reactive dogs, puppies, and pregnant mamas...and I've even delivered a litter of puppies in my home. I've also done hands-on training and confidence-building work with fosters who needed extra patience and support. I'm very tuned in to dog body language and behavior. I pay attention to what a dog is telling me, and I adjust my approach based on what they actually need. My own pups range from 60–90 lbs, so small and large breeds are welcome here.
Information Marilyn G. would like to know about your pet
🥰🥰🥰🥰 What i’d like to know about your pet, amongst other things is: Are they independent spirits who like their space, or velcro dogs who need constant pets and playtime? What is their energy level? Any food allergies or sensitivities? Do they show reactivity around other dogs, people, or animals. Are they picky eaters? Whats their personality like? These bits of info help me plan accordingly to meet their needs ◡̈
A typical day
✨✨✨ A “typical” day depends on your pets needs. Some pups want to spend the afternoon cuddled on the couch watching TV, some are built for long walks and come alive outside, while others are prone to a case of daily zoomies indoors, which in my house means full laps around the kitchen island until we're all worn out. I follow the pet's lead and make sure they're having fun in whatever way feels natural to them.

Pet care experience
🏡I live house with a fenced front yard in EaDo. 🫶🏼I’ve been a dog mom my entire adult life 16+yrs 🐾I have (3) babies of my own: Gia and Grizzly - littermates, and Blondie. 👱🏻♀️🐱 I’m roommates w my cousin Jackeline and her cat Stormy, so yes... cats are welcome here too! ◡̈ 🩵I'm an active foster for Heart of the Underdog, a Houston-based, no-kill rescue. I occasionally volunteer at the Houston Humane Society, and throughout college I spent weekends walking dogs for Friends for Life. Caring for animals has been a constant thread throughout my adult life, not an occasional thing. ☺️I'm the happiest version of myself when I'm surrounded by animals and helping them have a better quality of life. This isn't just a side gig for me, it's genuinely my happy place.

Marlyn has wide experience taking care of dogs, for sure knows how to care and love dogs patiently. Very good in communicating and providing updates as needed or on a daily basis, she sends pictures and videos to ease our longings while on vacation.

Marilyn was amazing!! We had a meeting VIA FaceTime to make sure my dog was compatible under her care which she took the time to explain what she does and how she looks after the animals she cares for while also making sure to ask questions about my baby Zeus! Drop off day was a breeze she took the time out to make sure my dog would get along great with hers and I could also see where my dog would be playing/staying which is/was great to see! Marilyn sent me photos and text updates everyday I was gone/while Zeus was in her care which was perfect. My dog had an amazing time while being in her care he loved to be around, play & cuddle with Marilyn while also loving to play with her animals! Pick up was also a breeze she had his toys and extra left over food packed in his doggy bag ready to go! I would 100% RECOMMEND booking with her your baby will be under a great household and amazing care!

She was great and made Roskos life very easy while I was gone!

Marylin took great care of my Slinky. She updated me every day and always let me know how things were going. She is thorough, kind, and clearly loves taking care of puppers. I really appreciated how considerate she was with her communication. I highly recommend her.
