A safe, calm, loving home
I’ve had my own pets for the last 25+ years and can’t imagine my life without one. I’ve also cared for family members pets when needed I have a soft spot for senior pets and prefer pets up to 25 pounds as I know I can manage them very well.

Marilyn was amazing! She was attentive to my 15+ year old shihtzu, Jersey, while I was away at my daughter’s wedding. I was updated regularly with pictures and short messages throughout Jersey’s stay with her which put my mind at ease and allowed me to fully enjoy the festivities. Many thanks, Marilyn!
Rocky's stay with Marilyn couldn't have gone better. She was attentive and loving towards him, and warm and communicative with me. She made sure she knew everything about Rocky's routine beforehand, which she clearly adhered to, and she added to that with extra activities and treats that I really appreciated. Marilyn kept me updated regularly with pictures and reports, which put my mind totally at ease. I would leave Rocky with Marilyn again without any hesitation.
Marilyn was terrific! She sent pics multiple times a day and also gave our little man homemade food - he is 18 and Marilyn understands how to care for senior dogs and she allowed him to sleep with her. We are lucky to have found Marilyn.
What an amazing experience for my family and senior dog DJ. It was his first time in his long life that he was staying with a non family member who he had just met. Marilyn gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling even before meeting her. DJ was welcomed and I was surprised to see how quickly he adapted to her and her environment. She kept in touch regularly, sent pics/videos, even did a bit of grooming. DJ enjoyed the home cooked meals and is now spoilt, lol. Will definitely be using her services again when possible. Thank you so much Marilyn.
Marilyn has very well taken care of our puppy while we were gone on vacation. She updates frequently with pictures and videos. We will be happy to use her service in future again. I would recommend her service to anyone.
We had never left our senior pup with anybody but family before. Out of necessity we searched Rover to find someone who could care for Milton in an environment that was calm, quiet and safe. Marilyn was the perfect fit. She is kind and gentle and her home is cozy and comfortable. She went above and beyond to ensure that our Milton ate well and was completely cared for. We are so incredibly grateful to have found such a lovely human.

Schedule
I’m retired so have a lot of free time to spend with pet clients. I don’t have other commitments so can structure my day around them.

I have a fenced yard and my own small rescue pup who is very good at giving other pups their space. I’m very observant and detail oriented . I’m a critical thinker and can anticipate issues and Problem solve. I typically take my own pet for several good walks (45 min each) per day and also am out with him in the backyard frequently. Pets are allowed on the furniture, I provide a safe calm very clean environment, I can send you pictures of your pet, I am very responsive to an individual pets needs and am vigilant in ensuring their safety. Pets
A typical day
With my own pet I spend time in the backyard while he roams around looking for squirrels or lying in the sun. As well we go for at least two to three walks a day each one averaging about 30 - 45 minutes subject to the weather. I’m in a mature residential neighbourhood with a park nearby. I have dog toys for inside play. Pets can relax on sofa with me.
