Home Away from Home, Filled w/LOVE
I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, from my own pups to those of family and friends. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I provide all care personally in our family home, where I live with my husband, two homeschooled children and our three dogs. I love welcoming new pups, getting to know their individual personalities and routines, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe and loved while they’re away from their families. Every stay reflects the standards I believe in at Perrito Social: clean spaces, personalized care, a comfortable environment, plenty of attention and lots of love. My goal is simple—happy tails and pet parents who can feel confident knowing their pup is being cared for like one of my own. 🐾

I get extremely anxious when I leave my two dogs behind while traveling for work. For me, choosing the right person was not easy. Mari made the experience an enjoyable one with frequent videos and photos of my pups throughout the day and even updated me on their breakfast and dinner intake (I was worried they wouldn’t eat while I was gone.) I definitely recommend Mari and I know my pups like her too. They get so happy when they see her.
Marilyn was amazing with my dog, Lexi! She was so sweet, caring, and attentive, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Lexi was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her and will happily use her again.

Schedule
I’m primarily home throughout the day, which allows pet care to naturally fit into our family’s daily routine. My two children are homeschooled, so although I may step out periodically for errands or activities. Visiting pups become part of my daily rhythm—feeding, potty breaks, playtime, relaxation and plenty of attention throughout their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
We have three dogs of our own, so creating a clean, safe and comfortable environment is extremely important to us. I take time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, potty habits and individual needs so we can provide personalized care. We maintain Perrito Social standards with an emphasis on clean spaces, happy tails and a higher standard of care. Dogs are supervised, given plenty of attention and can have their own comfortable space when needed. Most importantly, we want every pup in our home to feel safe, relaxed and genuinely loved. 🐾

A typical day
Our days are filled with plenty of love, playtime and attention. We enjoy outdoor time, walks, toys, cuddles and allowing each pup to settle in at their own pace. We follow their normal routine as closely as possible while making them feel like part of our family.
