Hey there! My name is Marika, and I have a massive passion for animal care. I have had animals in my house for as long as I can remember. I really started becoming responsible for the animals in my house around the age of ten. Now at 27 years old, my love and respect for animals has only flourished. I have two dogs back at my parents’ house up north, and I miss them more than anything. I have so much pent up love just waiting to shower over your beloved furry family member. I can’t wait to meet you and your lil pals.

Ideally, I would love to set up a meet and greet appointment to get acquainted and chat about routine, expectations, and/or anything special that needs attention. Ensuring food and water, potty breaks, and some loving! I send frequent updates and take plenty of photos of your furry friend during visits as well.

We feel really lucky to have found Marika on Rover to take care of our dogs Chip & Dunk’n. She sent us pictures during the two visits she made and we were able to see that they were enjoying her visits. She took such good care of our ‘pups’ and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were able to enjoy our time away from our dogs and we weren’t stressed about their well-being at all. So relieved to have found some like Marika that treated our dogs with outstanding care. Thank you for the pics and for taking such great care of our fur babies. We would recommend Marika to anyone looking for a dog sitter..you won’t be disappointed.

Marika was great from the start, her communication was quick and clear. She provided so many updates and adorable photos! Frankie was so happy and tired after her day with Marika. I highly recommend her for your pup!
She is really nice and I think she truly loves dogs. Dyson my dog was very happy to stay with her for the long weekend, they did activities, walk and she allowed him to sleep in her bed cuz he is such a baby. She kept me up to date and send me pictures all weekend. She will definitely be Dyson's nanny for now on. Defenitly recommended.
I have known Marika for over 10 years and one of her strongest qualities is compassion. The care she has for animals is greater than anyone I have ever met. She is responsible and will never let anything come before her job as an animal caretaker. She gives 100% to everything she does and sticks to her word. I don't know anyone I would trust more with my furry friends than her. If you want to make sure your dog is well taken care of and loved just as much as you love your furry friends, Marika is the girl for the job.

She is someone is naturally comfortable with animals, and animals are drawn to her because they can sense her warmth and love. Marika is the perfect person to trust when it comes to putting your furry friend in the right hands. She is compassionate, caring, EXTREMELY patient with dogs and all animals, and has a genuine love for them. It is so heartwarming to see that her day is made when she spots a cute dog on the street. Whenever I travel, I leave my pup with Marika and there is no one else in the world I would trust with him, I know in my heart that she will love and care for my pup the same way I would.

Schedule
I currently work 8-5 from home with the exclusion of 1 day in Toronto for office work. That said, I can typically book early mornings/during my lunch break/during the evenings depending on your needs. My work from home schedule is flexible and forgiving, allowing me to check in on your furry pals when you may not be able to! Aside from work, my other hard stop commitment is a fitness class on Thursdays, keeping my week(ends) pretty open to tend to Rover.
