STAY AT HOME full time pet lover!
Hey there! My name is Marijo (pronounced Mary-jo) and I've been an avid animal lover all my life. From snails to horses, I've had them all, but as it turns out I may just love dogs and cats the most! I have 2 rescues of my own, both chihuahua mixes, and I couldn't imagine life without them. As cheesy as it sounds, their happiness is mine. Whether it's cuddles or a good few dozen laps around the park or beach, I'd do just about anything to keep your baby happy as I do my own. Let me know how I can be of service to you and your family when you need it most. I'm here to help :) • Please have flea and tick preventatives for your pet if you plan on having them stay with me! • If your dog has severe anxiety to the point where I can’t walk outside to my car or take another dog to the bathroom without them tearing up my living space and barking/whining loudly, I can’t sit for you. I need to be able to step outside or run to the store when I have to, and keep the surrounding neighbors happy. • If you have a dog over 1 year old who is not yet house trained, I cannot care for them at my apartment. • If you are boarding your pup at my house, please provide their own food along with a toy or blanket from home. I have plenty of dishes they can eat/drink from along with tons of organic treats that they’ll get daily! • Be prepared for pictures! During your dog’s time with me, I like to provide lots of pictures so you know he/she is in good hands and your mind is at ease while you’re away!

Marijo is fantastic! We have two very feisty chihuahua mixes, but she’s been so patient and understanding with them, and they love her. We’ve worked with her several times and feel safe every time she’s with our dogs.
Marijo has done great with our pups and they both really love her! Will definitely use her again in the future!
Marijo took care of Lily during a long trip so it was great to get daily photos and updates! She gave Lily her twice a day medicine, special enrichment activities, and stayed a couple extra hours with Lily when our flight home was delayed.
Marijo took great care of our two mastiffs when we were away. She was very communicative during the trip and left the house exactly as we left it for her. Would recommend using her for house sittings!
She’s been amazing dog sitting for us—I haven’t had to worry at all. We really appreciate how well she takes care of the dogs. They’re definitely in great hands with her.
Marijo was great! I was pretty nervous to try a new sitter, but she was completely receptive to all feedback and updated me more than enough. I would definitely use again. She put my mind at ease.

Schedule
I work remotely so I’m extremely flexible most of the time. I’m available to board smaller dogs at my apartment, but larger ones I would prefer to sit at your house for!

A typical day
I may live in an apartment and not have a big backyard, but it's a large 2 bedroom place with over 1,000 sq ft and the dog beach and dog park is just around the corner! The neighborhood is great for walking, too! We'll go out several times a day to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. In the early to late afternoon, we'll go out for our daily excursion where we'll socialize and make friends!
