I don’t know whether I should leave a review for Mariia, because Sugar’s stay with her only lasted a few minutes due to an incident that has been reported that I have already made a statement about. This answer is taken mostly from my report. The incident occurred on Sunday, 21 December 2025. I dropped Sugar, who is a 10-pound (average-sized) domestic shorthair cat off with Mariia a few minutes after 2 pm. (All times are Eastern Standard Time.) I got into my car and began to go home. At 236 pm, when I was two or three blocks away, Mariia called me and said that she did not think that her keeping Sugar would be safe. She said that Sugar and her dog had fought and that blood had been shed. I said that I would come back and pick Sugar up. I made a U-turn and went back meet Mariia and pick Sugar up. When I arrived again, Mariia had Sugar back in her carrier. I took Sugar back home and made arrangements with a different cat sitter. I did not observe the fight between Sugar and the dog. What I did see is that the dog is a very small dog, smaller than Sugar, who is an average-sized cat. What I think is likely is that Sugar was the aggressor. She may not have known that the dog was a dog, and might have seen the dog as a rodent, and Sugar catches mice. Having not seen the fight, I think that Sugar was probably the aggressor. The incident was not Mariia’s fault (because it was probably Sugar’s fault), and she acted appropriately in calling me to retrieve Sugar.

Mariia was a fantastic sitter! Her attention to detail, care and consideration for my babies was unmatched. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her services in the future. 5 star service. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!
