Hi, my name is Mari! I have 12 years of experience caring for dogs and taken training classes on properly engaging with dogs. I am great on walks; I’m patient with dogs that like to sniff everything and can match the high energy of dogs that need to go on long walks. Most importantly, I would keep your dog safe on walks and in my care by staying aware at all times. My skills include knowing commands, leash handling, understanding dog & cat emotional cues, and most importantly how to have fun with pets! I have dog sat other dogs for family and friends and my calm & patient personality has helped build a bond with even the most scared pups. I also am great with cats and have 5 years of experience caring for them. My gentle energy allows me to build trust with nonchalant cats and kitties that like to keep to themselves. I love playing games with pets and always make sure everyone is having fun. While you are away, you can be sure they won't be lonely under my care :)

Marielle is wonderful! She was amazing with our toy poodle. She gave him a day full of walks and snuggles, which is just what he needs. :) Would definitely recommend and book again! <3

This was our first time being away from our new dog. Marielle did an amazing job watching over Frank. She gave me frequent updates with pictures, and patiently put up with my anxiety about leaving him for a weekend. I would 100% recommend Marielle.
Marielle was a great sitter for my girls! She was very communicative and kept in touch very well. She was so patient with my older more timid pup and i couldn't have asked for a better sitter for that!
My dog loved staying with Marielle and I appreciated the flexibility with the drop off time!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and trust is my #1 priority! I know basic and advanced commands to effectively communicate with your furry friend depending on the situation. Likewise, I am very knowledgeable on dog and cat emotions based on how their body language; if their tail wagging or down, alert ears/eyes, exposing teeth etc. Therefore, I know how to respond accordingly and would never risk agitating your pet. I also know how to give medication hidden in a treat, can crate your dog, can ease your dogs anxieties, and know how to engage with fun play!
A typical day
I love to stimulate your pets mentally with fun games, playtime, exciting walks, and trips to the dog park. If there is one thing to be sure they will never be bored!
