I have been a pet-sitter for my neighbor's 2 dogs and 3 cats for the past 10 years. I am very comfortable with caring for animals as I have grown up with one lab and two cats. In the past, I've taken care of my own fish, snakes, gerbils, lizards, and hamsters. I've worked on a ranch and have taken care of farm animals too! I love playing with animals and comforting pets as their owners are away. I'm comfortable with all types of behaviors and am not intimidated very easily; I grew up horseback riding and I know how to work with animals experiencing stressful situations. I will always provide the best service to make sure your pets are getting exercise and staying happy and healthy while you are out. I'm very communicative and if a problem arises, I will be sure to communicate the issue if it needs to resolved.

Marie was a great sitter for my dog! She was quick to respond and she was easy to communicate with. She stayed a few nights with my pup and kept me updated the whole time. I recommend Marie to anyone that is looking for a friendly, responsible, and easy going sitter for their fur baby!
Marie was fantastic with our 2 challenging pups. They have leash aggression and other nuances since they are rescues. She has a great setup for walking dogs out of her home so you won't encounter other dogs or people. Our older one has a bum knee and she walked slowly with him and made sure he didn't get sore. She gave the meds we needed. She even sent pictures of them! They looked completely relaxed and happy which made our vacation way more enjoyable! She was very easy to communicate with. We will absolutely use Marie again!!!
Marie has watched my dog, Zuri, many times and I cannot say enough positive things! Her kind demeanor and attention to detail always made me feel very safe leaving Zuri with her and Zuri loves spending time with her. She has quickly become one of my dogs favorite people. You could not ask for a better pet sitter than Marie.
Marie has cared for our pets (dog/cat) on several occasions; she has a huge heart for animals. She is reliable, responsible and trustworthy. We would highly recommend her without reservation.
Marie is a very caring, responsible, enthusiastic animal lover. I have had her as my dog walker/sitter for over 7 years now, and my two golden retrievers love her ! at any given time i can count on Marie. I also have 3 cats that she has cared for. She also has owned her own dogs and cats her entire life. She is an avid horseback rider and an extensive hiker and camper (attending several Outward Bound and Nols adventure trips). These expeditions focus on outdoor skills, and leadership, ... giving Marie the tools to handle any and most outdoor environment conditions while handling and caring for your Dogs. Schedule
I am around to walk all weekday and weekend afternoons after 3-4 pm. I am available to pet sit on the weekends and afternoons after work!

I think it is very important when petsitting to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible by going slowly in the beginning with the introduction. I try to not stress any pet out by first observing the pet's behaviors and then will play with the pet or comfort him/her if they are okay with that. It is always fun to play with pets but also I know some pets just want to relax and have more space!
A typical day
I love taking active dogs on runs so if your dog is up for more intense excerise, I can certainly do that! However, play time at home or walks around the neighborhood also work!
