I'm currently full time homemaker and empty nester. I am not employed outside of my home. I am active in my community volunteering my time at various nonprofit organizations. I consider myself active and like to go for walks.

I currently have one dog. His name is Deuce. Deuce is a foster fail. I've had Deuce for almost a year now. I did have 3 medium to large dogs at one time. They have since lived a long well loved life and passed on over the rainbow bridge. I have a fenced yard and two doggie doors. One for large dogs and another for small dogs so they have free range to go in and out of the house. I also have a covered porch to keep our animals comfortable while outdoors.

Does the pet get along with other dogs? Has the pet ever bitten a a person (adult or child) or other dogs? Any medical history of the pet (seizures, medication needs, etc.)
A typical day
I typically go on a morning walk, making a loop around a retention pond, visit & feed the ducks (1 mile loop). I like to take my dog on car rides while running quick errands. I also have plenty of doggie toys for everyone to play with, even brushes and combs if your pet loves that.

Pet care experience
For the past 6 years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter. I don't mind doing the dirty work of cleaning the kennels, giving baths, and doing the shelter laundry because I get to play with the dogs while I am there. I also foster dogs with special medical needs.

Marie is always so good with our senior dog. He’s 16 and needs care and support and she’s been responsive and sends updates. Recommended!
Our golden retriever Daisy had a great time during her time with Marie. Daisy returned very healthy and happy! We'll have her stay there again whenever we can.
Marie was fantastic and so sweet with our 15 year old dog. I appreciated her updates and her flexibility with him. He was so comfortable, he was doing things he only does with us. Recommend her!
Marie was such a great sitter! I got lots of updates & cute pics of my pup sent to me. Marie took her on walks & had a doggy-door that my pup, June, loved using. Marie treated June as her own; I would definitely book with her again!
