Information Marie L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog is dog/human aggressive, dog shy, or anything else along these lines. This will never stop me from wanting to walk or watch your little angel, but it helps me keep them as safe as possible when on walks in public. While I do not mind walking a dog if they are dog aggressive, I would not prefer to board dogs who are dog aggressive. My personal dogs do not react what so ever to aggression, so if it is a smaller dog I will take on a case by case basis. Unfortunately, if they are more than 20-30 lbs, this may not be the right fit (aggression only)
A typical day
I will always take owner recommendations/rules on where to walk. Other than that, I like to change it up slightly every time for my own dogs so they can experience new views, places, and smells. I have experience from when my first dog was younger with dogs who pull, twist, and try to get out of collars/harnesses. For boarding at my home, I have a one bedroom apartment with a medium sized living room. I typically walk my own dog for 20-30 minutes in the morning, and 30-45 minutes in the evening. If not, it is an over an hour walk once per day if I am short on time. This is what it would be for your little boarder as well. Between those times if I am not working, you can catch us snuggling up in bed or on the couch under the (all year round) Christmas lights watching TV and playing with toys. Although my older girl doesn’t enjoy toys, I keep many on hand for my puppy and for friends/families pets. We will do enrichment once per day with a frozen treat, treat puzzle, or scavenger hunt! My dogs love it.

Reviews

Marie was awesome. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior, super flexible, and gave up updates and pics for my kiddos to see each day. Will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

Marie did a great job with Skye! She was knowledgeable and took great care of my pup. Skye really loved enjoying time with her two dogs as well. Definitely will be using Marie again!!
Marie is great with the many animals I’ve seen her interact with, especially dogs. She is great with my dog who has a hard time meeting and socializing with new people. She many years of experience caring for her own dog, which makes me feel confident when she’s watching my dog for me. There’s no one I’d trust more than her to take of my dog while I’m gone!
