Calm, home-from-home dog boarding by the beach 🐾 I offer a relaxed, loving environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. Living right by the beach means plenty of fresh air, walks, and a calm routine — it’s like a little holiday for them while you’re away. I keep things small and personal, usually caring for just one dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, consistency, and a stress-free environment, which works especially well for more sensitive or excitable dogs. I’m experienced with a range of temperaments, including puppies and high-energy dogs, and I’m confident following your routines — whether that’s feeding, training, or medication. Owners often say they feel completely at ease knowing their dog is in safe hands, and I always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax while you’re away. I work part-time, so I have lots of flexibility for walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. I’m active and out walking daily, making sure your dog gets a good balance of exercise and downtime. I’m always happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine and sleeping arrangements to help them settle in comfortably.

Mel is wonderful! We have only recently got our puppy (4 months old) so having a dog walker was a completely new experience. I knew immediately we were in safe hands with Mel. She is such a warm and friendly individual, and coped admirably with our young puppy who is very excitable, chewy and with sharp puppy teeth (!) The walk went so well - Mel is so competent and at ease with all the practicals like keys, where items are, coming and going etc. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. She kept me updated through the app so I could see where they had walked, some pictures of puppy on the walk, the times of the walk, etc. all very detailed and brilliant. I cannot recommend Mel highly enough.
It was Rex’s first time staying with someone at our home, and I was a bit worried since he’s a very excitable and energetic dog, especially when meeting new people. Marie was amazing from the start — she has such a warm, kind, and positive personality, always smiling and making it seem like nothing is too much trouble. She followed my advice on giving Rex commands to calm him down and handled him so well. I really appreciated the regular updates during the day — it helped me relax knowing he was happy and in good hands. Marie went above and beyond, and her lovely daughter, who clearly loves dogs, played endless fetch with Rex. He was super tired and happy by the end of the day! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Marie!

Schedule
I'm currently working part time so I've got lots of time to walk/ play with your pup. I'm very active and walk/run daily. I can be available most weekends also and daytimes too.

I don't have a crate at home but we're happy to have your pet sleep in the living room (on the couch if prerable). Happy to accommodate any need
A typical day
I love to run/walk on the beach as it's on my door step. My daughter loves beachcombing too so we're on the beach daily. I'm happy to play with any special toys/games/balls
