Since my childhood, I have been obsessed with all dogs :) I grew up with dogs and other smaller animals, and adopted my own dog, Sydney, in 2015. She's a sweet lab mix weighing around 35 pounds. In January 2022, my partner and I adopted a second mixed breed female dog, Mochi. My fur babies get several daily walks, and we head to the woods to hike whenever we can! My friends all associate me with my love for animals, particularly my love for dogs. I'm a caring person, generally, and spent many years nannying while I put myself through law school. Now, I have flexibility and hope to incorporate more animal care (food for my soul!) in my day-to-day.

Marie was really sweet with our shy pup
My dog, Lefty, had the best time with Marie and her family in Salem while I was traveling for work! My dog can be a little timid, especially around new people, but Marie warmly welcomed Lefty and took the time to introduce her to her family, including her 2 very sweet dogs, really making sure Lefty felt comfortable prior to her stay. I really appreciated Marie’s warm/kind demeanor, flexibility and communication- sending updates and photos throughout the stay! Having great care while away really gave me peace of mind- literally zero worries- it was the best! I picked up such a happy, tired, well-cared for pup- we can’t wait to visit Marie and her family again soon!!
Marie was just lovely. She kept me updated and sent pictures throughout the day, which was so comforting while I had to be away. Highly recommend!
Marie is awesome!! This was the first time leaving my boys with someone, and Marie was amazing! She sent multiple updates daily as well as pictures. She was so nice and quick with all her responses. She was super flexible as well! She even stayed longer, as my flight got delayed, to ensure the dogs were well taken care of up until I got home. I came home to two very happy boys. I highly recommend Marie! Thank you so much!
Lovely family!
This was the very first time I have left my two year old crazy pups with anyone, let alone over night, and Marie was an amazing pup sitter. She was attentive and sent texts and pictures throughout the day, which calmed my nerves. My girls seemed to have a great time and looked so happy in all of the pictures. I would definitely recommend her, and if she’d have my girlies back, I will be a repeat customer. Thanks Marie!!

Schedule
My schedule is completely flexible! I'm happy to work with the timing needs of your pets! My fur babies have a nice routine that includes at least four walks each day: morning walk, lunchtime walk, dinnertime walk, before-bed walk. They eat twice/day: in the morning and at dinnertime.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large crate in the house (to use as needed) and a fenced-in backyard. Our kitchen door leads to the backyard (again, fenced), and I love leaving the door open to let the fur babies go in and out as they please. I understand all dogs have varying needs and am willing to defer to your judgment/instruction with respect to your animal(s)! If you think I might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out!

A typical day
My dogs and I love to walk at Bush Park, which is conveniently walking distance from our house :) Our favorite is Minto Brown, though, which has a great dog park and tons of wonderful wooded trails!
