I've been caring for pets since I was 10, growing up with a variety of animals and learning the basics of pet care. However, at 18, my approach became much more serious when I adopted an 8 week old Great Pyrenees named Kodiak who had significant health, behavioral, and medical issues. This experience taught me a great deal about managing complex health challenges, addressing behavioral problems, and providing specialized care, which deepened my commitment to responsible pet ownership and caregiving. Animals have always had a special place in my heart and with Kodiak's ailments, I realized how difficult it can be to find high-quality pet sitters especially for pets requiring more assistance, patience, and time. I would love to provide reliable and trustworthy care to every and all pets, and if you have a dog who is a little more picky and high-maintenanced with who they allow in your home, then I would love to be the one to start building that trust with you and your pup. Marie is great! She sent me lots of pictures and updates of our dog and even picked him up and dropped him off!
Marie was SO great with our dog! She sent us updates and pictures frequently and our dog had such a great time playing with her dogs! She even made us a printed picture and little card when she dropped him off!
Marie was amazing with Chloe. She kept me updated and sent pictures. I will definitely use Marie again for dog sitting and highly recommend her.
Our dog Scooter loved Marie! She was so nice to him. You can really see that she likes dogs and knows them well. We had her give him his medicine each morning and that wasn’t a problem at all. Any time I would reach out to her for an update I got a quick response. I would definitely use her again!
Marie is the BEST pup friend you can find! My girls just love her, she’s so energetic and engaging. She’s active with the dogs which is great for their mental stimulation, and she knows training so she can gently keep them well behaved. If her dogs will be around, it’s even a bonus because they are so well socialized, I don’t have any worries about them mixing with mine. 10/10 recommended!!!
Marie has dropped in for my large breed dog, picked him up for dog park visits and watched him for me during vacation. I love that she has experience with large dogs, administering medications and is really hands on and passionate about dogs. My pup is not low maintenance in terms of needing monitoring for counter serving and getting into food, doesn’t like being left alone etc. and she handles it great. She always sends lots of photos and updates which helps make me feel at ease. Would recommend Marie for your dog care and needs 100%!

Schedule
I am self-employed so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule! I walk my own dogs 1-2x a day and love to exercise them especially in new places

Safety, trust & environment
For boarding - I have a fenced yard with neighbors who also have dogs so barking is not an issue or concern. We live close to several fenced off-leash dog parks and public parks to allow additional room for your pup to roam! I also have made walks a priority first thing in the mornings and evenings with our current 2 dogs. For walking/check-ups- I promise to follow direct instructions and orders you provide. I promise to reach out to you directly if I have any concerns or questions on specific care, restrictions, permissions, etc. rather than assuming. I will make informed, safe decisions on your pets care if I cannot get in touch with you.

A typical day
I love to start the day with a romp outside - this could be a walk, hike, dog park or fun toy play session at home! I tend to feel out how your dog is feeling and determine how intense of exercise they need. If they need more, then I usually will do another exercise play session later in the day or something longer next time.

- Please let me know if your pet has restrictions of any kind - dietary, exercise, certain toys/chews/bones, etc. Also, please let me know what your pups love (i.e. SUPER food driven, love eating everything/counter surfing, other dogs, etc) and hate (i.e. cats, fireworks, loud noises, etc.) - its always good to know ahead of time so I can prepare for or avoid certain activities!
