Your Pet’s New Best Friend – Marie’s Lucky Paws
With over 4 years of hands-on experience running my own pet care business, Marie’s Lucky Paws, I offer calm, consistent, and loving care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors, and I’m confident handling shy, anxious, or reactive pets too. I focus on building trust, keeping to routines, and making your pet feel as safe and happy as possible while you’re away. I also offer daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands.

Safety, trust & environment
In a pet owner’s home, I always respect your space and your pet’s routine. I take time to understand their habits, quirks, and needs whether it’s walk times, feeding routines, play preferences, or quiet time. I keep things as consistent and calm as possible to reduce stress while you’re away. I provide plenty of cuddles, enrichment, and companionship, and I’ll always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Cleanliness, reliability, and your pet’s happiness are my top priorities. I’m respectful of owners homes as I will always clean up after myself and the pets.

Marie was great, we're very happy to have found someone to look after our Beagle! Hopefully we'll be able to use her services for the years to come. Thank you.
Marie was really good walking our nervous dog, she took the time to get Luna comfortable with her and was very communicative about how the visit was going

Marie has been fantastic from the first meet and greet to looking after my 2 dogs this weekend. She kept me updated with pics and messages throughtout her stay. I've already booked her in for my next trip! Thank you!!

Marie has stayed in my home twice looking after my dog Arlo whilst I work extra 24 hr shifts. Marie is caring and loving towards Arlo. She is very respectful of my home, trustworthy and reliable. When I’m at work I feel relaxed and don’t need to stress, I feel lucky to have found Marie’s Lucky Paws. I highly recommend Marie, she’s a wonderful person
I had the bestest week ever with my new hooman friend, Marie! My humans went away and left me in her paws, and let me tell you, she’s amazing! Every day she sent my mum updates and cute pics of me (I looked fab in all of them, obviously 😌). Even when I wasn’t feeling my usual bouncy self (I caught a little bug, yuck!), Marie gave me the snuggles, care, and freshly cooked chicken with rice I needed to feel better. She made me feel 100% again, tail wags galore! Marie isn’t just a pet sitter, she’s got the biggest heart and truly loves us furry floofs. You can sniff that this is her passion right away! Oh! And mum said the house was clean and looked after like it was her doing it when they got back. She would wag a tail if she could! Lots of kisses Bella 🐾 (The dog)
Marie took great care of our Weimaraner, Ziggy, who can’t be left as he suffers with separation anxiety. He was so relaxed around her that our cat even felt it safe enough to join them both and have a bit of a play. We’re very happy to have found someone local who is reliable, trustworthy and happy to work with such a large goofy dog.

Pet care is my full-time job, which means your pet gets my full attention, flexibility, and care throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits or walks, overnight/day sits and I’m able to adapt to your pet’s routine—whether that’s medication schedules, meal times, or preferred walk times. Because this is my main focus, I’m always nearby and able to give your pet the time and companionship they deserve.

- Before caring for a pet, I always like to know their feeding schedule, what food they have and how much they need. It’s also important for me to know about any medications or medical conditions, behavioural quirks or issues, and if there are any areas in the home they’re not allowed to go. I also ask whether they’re comfortable around other dogs on walks and I always make sure I have an emergency contact just in case. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to keep your pet safe, happy and relaxed.
