Loving care with long countryside walks
I have helped friends and neighbours with dog walking and cat care with overnight stays for 25 years. I walk through woodland, countryside and lanes anywhere up to 15 kilometres and alternate routes to keep things interesting.

We had no worries with Marie staying with our dog Loki. Marie sent lots of lovely photos and videos whilst we were on holiday. Loki looked extremely happy and content. We came home to a happy dog and our house left as it was. Would have no issues with using Marie again. Loki loved Marie and her family. Marie is very understanding and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Marie.

Schedule
I currently work from home writing reports and do not have a full 9-5 day, which gives me a lot of flexibility and freedom to go on long woodland and country side walks. I have experience of handling large dogs and love to snuggle up with them on the sofa in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an open plan home with plenty of throws on the sofas for relaxing on after a long walk and a secure rear garden for toilet breaks between big walks. I let the pets choose where they want to sleep and will let them on the bed (being apart from their family can be unsettling) if they want to.
A typical day
I will do two long walks a day, the length of which will be dog specific but up to 15k, with a few shorter walks. With longer stays for dogs with more energy, I will go to a secure two acre field with agility equipment to have run arounds off the lead to have lots of fun.
