Grad Student Dog Lover
I am currently in my 6th year of grad school and moved to the DMV area from Atlanta, GA. I took care of both of my family dogs from freshmen year of high school (2011) until I graduated from college in May of 2019. I currently own a 7 year old miniature Australian shepherd named Stitch but I love to continue to interact with, play and take care of other’s dogs as well. My family also used to foster dogs for a local rescue so I am very used to being around different kinds of dogs from mixed breeds to pure breeds. For dog walking, I am very active and wouldn’t mind taking your dog along with me!

Schedule
When taking care of our dog, I tend to get up between 6-7AM in order to feed and walk him. He is pretty high energy so making sure he gets enough exercise during the day is important. I recognize this is also the case with other’s dogs as well and will fit my schedule to ensure your dog gets an adequate amount depending on your dogs needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Anytime I leave the house with my dog or someone else’s, the dog will always be leashed before the door opens. Dogs can be a flight risk around new people and I would never want someone to go through losing a dog because it was not properly restrained. I will also keep a close eye on your dog to ensure they don’t eat anything they shouldn’t and will keep you updated throughout the stay so that you can have peace of mind during your time away!

I love going for long walks or even a run depending on the energy level of your dog. I enjoy visiting parks as well and would love to take your dog along with me!
