Safety, trust & environment
I have a very peaceful home that is clean and well-maintained. The house has wood floors, an expansive covered patio, and a spacious, fenced yard that backs up to a greenbelt. The neighborhood (with sidewalks) is family-centric and dog-friendly. I care for pets like family—a balanced, orderly routine with affection, playtime, and adequate rest.

Information Marie C. would like to know about your pet
We have one pet, May, who has the personality of a therapy dog. She is sweet, social, calm, quiet, and very chill. She loves socializing with other dogs.
A typical day
A typical day involves waking up with a "Good morning!" and gentle belly rubs. We have a sliding glass door with views to watch birds or squirrels that may roam by throughout the day. The pets love lounging under our large covered patio. A Dentastix treat is provided as a snack in the afternoon or evening. A 15-minute walk in the 'hood is available in the evening to prepare for a restful slumber. Our dog and the visiting dog sleep in the living room next to our bedroom.

Marie's Zen Den
Pet care experience
Hello! I have been a former pug rescue volunteer (DFW and Pug Rescue Austin) for over 15 years (adoption screener, intake, transport, and foster). I have one sweet, gentle, and friendly mixed-breed rescue named May in our home. We prefer taking care of low to moderate energy (overall healthy) dogs, providing short daily walks (morning and/or late evening), frequent potty breaks, belly rubs, and treats are on the daily agenda. We aim to care for one dog and our dog, providing a calm, quiet, and serene environment during the stay.
Reviews

Marie was an amazing sitter for our dog Harlow. We received daily updates and had great communication throughout the entire process. We absolutely recommend Marie and will gladly use her again in the future. Thanks again!!

Marie was great. We really appreciated her loving care for our Gus. We got regular updates with pictures and she truly loved our dog. Can't ask for more than that!

Our dog stayed with Marie for 4 nights, and it didn’t take long to see why she has a perfect review here. She’s flexible, incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and asks all the right questions upfront so she really understands your pup’s needs. She checked in about how many updates we’d like, and she got Chica’s personality right away. You could just tell Chica was loved on the whole time: she came home happy, relaxed, and looking beautiful as always. We’ll absolutely be booking with Marie again!

Our dog had 2weeks of playtime and relaxing time at Marie’s Zen Den. Gus and their dog May were fast buddies. Marie sent timely photos/videos of Gus settling right in. Successful stay! Would use Marie, Chris and May again!
