Pet care experience
Fur babies are my favorite babies.
There are few things I love more in life than fur babies. I take my own doggo, Luna, with me pretty much wherever I go and when I dog sit, he/she gets the same treatment (unless otherwise specified of course). I'm always posting photos of fur babies on my Instagram, and am frequently asked if I've adopted yet another dog. (Answer: I wish!) I've had dogs my entire life. My family's first dog was basically my guardian when I was a baby and after he passed, I was about 10 when my family got a shih-tzu puppy, whom I trained. In college, I realized I simply could not live without a dog of my own, so when I moved into my first apartment, I got a mini schnauzer puppy (Luna) after doing extensive research on dog training and a dog that would fit my lifestyle. I also have a beautiful little calico cat, Lily. I'm not sure which she likes more - food or snuggles. Like most cats, she's skeptical about new people and animals, but has really come out of her shell and is much less skittish since I adopted her. I was never really a cat person until I moved to Austin and was staying with a friend who had two, but now I love them all. I trained Luna based on general research as well as reading the Cesar Millan books, so I focus on positive reinforcement. Currently, I stay up-to-date on the latest in the animal world by reading pet news on Wide Open Pets.

I cannot thank Marie enough for agreeing to watch Georgia last minute! Marie was quick to respond to my messages/text and seemed very knowledgeable and caring. I felt very comfortable with leaving Georgia in her care. Marie took the pups for many walks and has a wonderful dog park attached to her apartment complex for the dogs to run around and socialize. I highly recommend Marie!
Marie was great. I had some plans thru the day so my dog, Asher stayed with her for the afternoon. Asher was exhausted when he got home so seems like he had a great time! Marie sent pics throughout the day as well. Thank you!
Marie was very accommodating for Titus and I on such a short notice. I was extremely pleased with the daily updates and receiving feedback about Titus while I was on vacation. I would highly recommend her again on my next vacation as the trust and respect has obviously impacted me in a positive way.
Marie was GREAT with oti, super flexible and helpful when we needed her last minute. Was great with updating throughout the day with photos! Will use again
If you could rate someone a 11/10, that would be Marie! Marie is my "go-to" for watching my dog every time I need to go out of town for work/trips. He loves spending time with her and is geniunely ecstatic to see her every time I drop him off. I have had plenty of bad experiences with letting people I don't know watch my dog, but with Marie, I can enjoy my time away and relax because I know Jax is having a good time.
Marie watches my kitten Zoe, who is very difficult. Zoe was traumatized as a baby and is terrified of all unanswered, animals, and spaces other than her primary human (me). Marie makes sure she is comfy and I feel confident and happy knowing that I can leave and Zoe has another person looking after her all the time.

A typical day
I love to walk along Ladybird Lake! My neighborhood is nearby, so it's a quick hop over to the beautiful water. There's also a dog park at my apartment complex for any socialization you may want your pup to have with other dogs. My neighbors and their pets are very friendly! I also love all the outdoor patios here in Austin. I like to take Luna and her friends up to the Domain or to local breweries like Lazarus.
