Animal lover turned seasoned sitter
I'm an animal lover that loves to spend time with animals, particularly dogs and I've been dog-walking and looking after cats and the like for a few years now. I've walked dogs of all different sizes, personalities and breeds - my personal favourite has been Fred the Bassett Hound as they're known for their stubborn-ness but when they love you, they love big! One of my favourite things to do is to sing and play to them! (I play guitar) They love it every time - especially puppies :) I also have experience assisting with new pet additions to the family, and have helped a number of pups settle into routines and potty training. And I've helped to improve older dogs in their recall where there was very little before! I love walks myself and and enjoy taking doggies to play at local parks to socialise with other friends. And if they're more introverted, they tend to let the other dogs know! I've been fortunate to dog and cat sit all over the world on my travels, including boarding stays in LA, New York, London and now Leeds :)

Marie was my neighbour and luckily for me the regular sitter of my beloved ragdoll cat Mimi and poodle Rex whenever I was away. I always felt at ease and peace of mind with her communication, genuine kindness and would always return to my happy, well taken care of fur babies and home. I really wish she was still close enough to pop round to visit us so if Marie's on your list for a petsitter, congratulations!

Schedule
I work from home (except for some Thursdays) and am currently finishing my research Masters also so am very present for quality time. I am mostly a homebody so am around also most evenings where pets are not left alone for lengthy periods.

I live in a spacious flat and can house crates if required, smoke-free, arty, and clean :) I treat animals with the individual attention and care that they need, based on what they themselves let me know upon meeting and getting to know - just like people!
A typical day
I play a few musical instruments and love to play/sing to the animals when we're at home. Playing games with their toys is also good fun, as well as some outdoor time to get out all the energy they are dying to expend!
