My experience includes volunteering at local shelters where I provided companionship, exercise, and basic care to dogs in need. I have also honed my skills in managing diverse breeds by taking them on dog dates, ensuring they receive the socialization and mental stimulation they require. Additionally, I have fostered dogs through the app rover program, providing a loving temporary home until they find their forever families. My commitment to their well-being extends beyond basic needs, focusing on creating a nurturing environment that promotes their physical and emotional health.

I have a dog name snowball, i’ve had him since I was 7. I have been raised with dogs my whole life. They make me happy and truly grateful. How I care for others & my own dog is with love, care and respect. I will always respect their home and the clients home, by never leaving it a mess if one is made.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mari Carmen for any pet-sitting or animal care needs. While I was away in Mexico on a family trip, she took exceptional care of both my dogs—my senior Chihuahua and my younger German Shepherd. She not only fed and played with them daily, but she also gave them the kind of thoughtful attention that truly sets her apart. My senior Chihuahua needs extra patience during mealtimes because our German Shepherd tends to eat his food if no one is watching. Mari Carmen took the time to sit with him and make sure he finished eating comfortably, ensuring he got the nutrition he needed. That level of care and awareness meant so much to me. I’ve known Mari Carmen since middle school, and she has always had a natural connection with animals. She grew up around dogs and has an incredible amount of compassion, responsibility, and love to give to animals of all kinds. Anyone who trusts her with their pets can feel confident that she will treat them with the same care and affection she gives her own.
