I work from home two days a week, which gives me the flexibility to be home for much of the day and provide regular attention and care. On the days I’m working outside the home, I’m able to stop home for pee breaks and check-ins. I understand that every pup has different routines and needs, and I’m happy to work closely with pet parents to create a schedule that works best for you and your dog. Whether your pup needs extra potty breaks, walks, playtime, or simply some company and cuddles, I’m flexible and happy to accommodate their routine as much as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where your dog can enjoy some fresh air and playtime in a safe environment. We currently don’t have any pets at home. We are still mending our hearts after the recent passing of our beloved dog, who was a very special part of our family. Because of this, we understand just how much your furry family member mean to us. Our home includes our loving 6 year old boy, so visiting dogs must be comfortable and good with children. We’re happy to accommodate your pup’s individual routine, personality, and needs to help them feel comfortable and at home while they’re with us. For overnight stays, sleeping in a crate is preferred, as we want to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for everyone. Most importantly, your pup will receive plenty of love, attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles while they’re here.

Before your pup’s stay, I’d love to know about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, fears, favourite activities, and any special needs or behaviours I should be aware of. Please also let me know how they do with other dogs, new people, and being left alone. Most importantly, dogs must be good with children.
A typical day
Lots of playtime, cuddles, backyard fun, fetch, toys, walks, and plenty of attention! I also try to do a nightly walk before bed. I’ll tailor activities to your pup’s age, personality, and energy level so they feel happy, comfortable, and right at home.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a home that always had a dog, so caring for dogs has always been a natural and important part of my life. I’ve regularly watched family and neighbours’ dogs and have experience caring for both playful puppies and senior dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, including dogs who are not social with other dogs. I’m comfortable providing one-on-one care and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved. Since we are a family with children, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable and good with kids. We’re a very active and loving family who enjoys getting outside, especially going for walks. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and I’ll treat your pup like part of our family while they’re in our care.

Maribeth has watched and walked my dog on multiple occasions and I could not recommend her more! She really treats the pets she cares for as if they are her own and takes everything about your pet into account, from allergies to walking limitations and daily routines, to make sure she provides a safe and happy environment for them. She is loving and attentive and my pup always comes home happier and more content than when he leaves. 10/10
Maribeth had watched my puppy Maisie quite a few times and i am very satisfied! She is very reliable and maisie loves to be around her aswell. She always makes sure to keep my puppy active. Totally recommend Maribeth.
Maribeth is an absolutely wonderful person and incredible with pets! She is caring, responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely loves animals. I would have no hesitation leaving my pets in her care. She is attentive to their needs, gives them lots of love and attention, and treats them like they’re her own.
