Marianne is a very likeable person who's polite and friendly and clearly likes animal. Whilst we were away, I received regular photo and video updates, all of which showed my dog looking happy and contented in her company. I chose Marianne for my 3 week housesit, as she works from home and would therefore be around for my 3yr old cockapoo and 18yr old cat. Whilst the sit was mostly ok, I unfortunately have to mention the major problem on day one when Marianne didn't turn up as arranged. This ruined the 1st few days of my holiday and left me anxious throughout. We left for the airport at 5am and it was arranged that Marianne would arrive between 7-8am to walk the dog prior to her starting work. On route, at 6.30am, I messaged her some basic information and received a reply that didn't indicate a problem. At 9.30am, we were about to board our 9hr flight, and I could see from our door security camera that she hadn't arrived. I tried to call her, but it said her phone was switched off. Extremely concerned, I called my neighbour and asked that she check in on my dog. 13 hours later, when I got to my hotel and had Wi-Fi access, I could see from the door cam footage that Marianne hadn't actually turned up until nearly 1.30pm. She'd stayed 45mins and then didn’t returned again until 6.10pm. At which stage she took my lively 3yr old cockapoo out for just 20mins. The following morning (a Saturday) she took her for another short 20min walk before leaving the house again. It was at this stage I had a messaging conversation with Marianne and things improved. Whilst she gave me an explanation, there is no excuse for her not immediately alerting me, and to just leave my dog alone for 12 out of 13 hours, and then only giving her 20mins of exercise. Is it was just the cat Marianne was looking after, I'd of had no issues.

Marianne was fantastic with our Poppy! We have never lefts Pops with anyone not family and she gave us regular updates and photos. Poppy went on lots of exciting walks and house was just as we left it. Thank you so much!

Marianne was great, good communication and came home to a happy and context dog who had clearly decided Marianne could stay!

Looking after a 23kilo 8-month-old puppy is no small task—especially one as stubborn and needy as ours—but Marianne seemed to cope well providing regular walks and enrichment games. Marianne provided us with regular updates and videos providing peace of mind that our girl was being cared for even under some very challenging times.

Marianne was brilliant with Bodhi. She took her on lots of interesting walks and was very communicative. It was lovely to receive photos and summaries of their day together. Thank you so much Marianne for taking good care of Bodhi and our home.

Marianne did a very good job and kept me up to date with regular videos. Alfie will miss her.
