I have a cozy, scent-free bachelor suite in Wihkwêntôwin with plenty of parks and walking paths around for walks. I have minimal furniture so there’s plenty of floor space to put their favourite bed, or for them to stretch out. Please provide all bedding washed beforehand (in scent free detergent), pen, crate (or both), poo bags sufficient for the stay, 2 food bowls, tummy meds/probiotics or fresh veggies for those pets who are easily stressed when away from home, food, leash + harness, and favourite toys for your doggo. For optimal air quality I run an air purifier and humidifier during daytime hours. I provide them Brita filtered water during the day. I have a mini carpet cleaner for those surprise accidents that most pets (even the best trained ones) will have in a new environment. If your pet needs space where they are the boss of the castle, please reach out! For my dog clients they’ll get walks + exercise throughout the day, exploring the neighbourhood. They’ll get many cuddles and praises of affection. I do daily cleaning which includes vacuuming and cleaning up any mess your pet may create while staying (even the most well potty trained will usually have an accident or two). I also thoroughly clean & sanitize my suite after every booking.

Your fur baby will be treated like family and get lots of love, cuddles, and kisses! I support them to be cool and confident so they can just be themselves, relax and enjoy their stay. Hello/Salut, I’m Marianne 🏳️🌈 (they/she), thanks for your interest! With 20 years experience in pet care across Canada, I’m always expanding my clientele on the Rover app and really looking forward to building and maintaining meaningful relationships with my new clients. 💰 Ask me about my referral link (with a built-in discount) for pet parents you know who are considering joining the Rover app. 💰 I offer reduced rates for multi-day bookings. Check out my full pricing list: I’ve lowered my rates to include your booking fee ie. instead of boarding for $40/night + booking fee, it’s now $36/night + booking fee = $40 total for you 💰 Need Compassionate Pricing for your booking request? Let me know and we’ll chat to find what can work. ⏰⌚️ If you are running late for a pick up or drop off, please let me know at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time. ROVER PLATFORM COST BREAKDOWN: Rover company: - Rover keeps 20% of quoted sitter rate + full booking fee - All tips go directly to the sitter; can be a maximum amount of 100% of the service rate for the sitter. Owners: - As a pet owner, you'll see an 11% service fee listed separately at checkout when you pay for the booking. This fee can't exceed $65. - Your service fee is added to the quoted rate. Ex. You're quoted $250 from the sitter rates; your service fee at checkout is $27.50. Your grand total is $277.50. - Use my sitter discount code if it's your first time on the platform to get $20 off. - Extended care rates: Clients will be required to select a pick-up and drop-off time range in their booking request. Rover will apply an Extended Care rate (per pet) if the client’s pick-up time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the drop-off time on the first day of the stay. This rate varies based on how much additional time the sitter provided extended care. If the extended care is more than 2 hours or up to 8 additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 50% of the sitter’s nightly rate. If the extended care is more than 8 additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 100% of the sitter’s nightly rate. Sitters: - Keep 80% of the quoted rate - Get 100% of your tip - Ex. Quoted rate: $250; $250 x 80% = $200 profit + full tip amount - We are required to file our earnings with the CRA each year and pay tax on what we earned on the app; please tip if you can Please make sure to read through here and the “Details” tab for all required pet info and available services before reaching out, and ensure your payment information is up-to-date. Thanks in advance for being on time for our Meet ‘n Greet, pet pick up and drop off. Thank you for tipping when you can and leaving a review promptly after the booking is completed. Your tip helps me cover additional costs to keep my home pet friendly for a variety of animals (like cleaning supplies (including my mini carpet cleaner cleaning solution), air filters, Brita filters, poop bags, garbage bags, preparing my home in a customized way to make your pet comfy, time cleaning my suite during the booking, and afterwards), time during our Meet ‘n Greet in my home and/or other communication prior to the booking, time commuting to your home for on-site Meet ‘n Greets, drop-ins, walks, and house sitting, as well as current first aid training. Your 5-star review and detailed comments helps me get recognized publicly for the awesome work I do with your pet (like visible references), helps my page grow, and is super appreciated to be completed on the day of pick up. After 21 days from the day of pickup you’re not eligible to leave a review on the platform for a sitter, which is a bummer. As a Rover sitter I provide feedback about you and your fur baby for your public Rover pet parent & pet profiles which I always complete on the same day of pick up; the reciprocity is much appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m a scent-free human: please make sure your home (for house sitting) and pet supplies (for boarding) are scent free. If I detect scent on your pet’s bedding in my home, I’ll simply bag it up and use the bedding I have available. I use positive reinforcement methods to work with your pet. I'm comfortable administering medication(s), supporting pets with special needs, high anxiety, those who are newly trained in commands, young puppies, kittens, or senior pets. I value transparency and relationship building with my clients so that they know their pet is in good hands. I love sending you photo updates of what your pet is up to while they're in my care….yes, you will get spammed :) I provide a minimum of 10 photo/video updates per day. Marianne was wonderful with Blue! From the very beginning, she made him feel comfortable and safe. She is kind, attentive, and clearly loves dogs. Blue came back happy and well cared for, which means everything to me. She kept me updated and was very easy to communicate with, which gave me peace of mind. I’m really happy with the care she provided and would absolutely recommend Marianne to anyone looking for a loving and reliable sitter for their dog. 🐾🩵

We truly cannot say enough good things about Marianne. They are, without a doubt, the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. From the very first meet and greet, Marianne was incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and thorough. They took the time to learn everything about our dog, Minnie, and made sure they were fully prepared to give her the best possible care during our trip to Ontario. That level of care and attention immediately put us at ease. Throughout Minnie’s stay, Marianne sent us frequent updates with photos and videos, which meant the world to us while we were missing her so much. It was so reassuring to see how happy, relaxed, and comfortable Minnie was. And on Christmas Day, they even surprised her with a Christmas gift. We were beyond grateful 🩷 From every photo and video, it was clear that Minnie was not just being looked after, but genuinely loved. Honestly, she definitely did not miss us 😂 We feel incredibly lucky and deeply grateful to have found Marianne. Minnie will absolutely be back the next time our schedules align, and we already know how excited she’ll be to see them again. Thank you, Marianne, for taking such wonderful care of our girl.

Marianne did an excellent job hosting my cat Coal! She was very professional with the daily care and providing updates throughout the day to me. He needed some additional care as he has kidney disease but it was no problem; Marianne handled all the additional tasks very well. He got alot of attention as well with video updates. Coalie was well taken care of and we highly recommend her!

Marianne is incredible! They took care of our dog Nala for 8 nights, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Marianne made us feel completely at ease while we were away by sending lots of photos and videos, along with a thoughtful recap of the day every evening. It is clear that they truly care about our four-legged friends and go above and beyond to make sure they feel loved and comfortable. Knowing that Nala was in such great hands gave us so much peace of mind, and it’s obvious Marianne takes pride in providing exceptional care. If we ever go out of town again, we wouldn’t hesitate to use their services, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented to care for their pets. Thank you, Marianne, for loving Nala like your own!
