Let me know and we’ll chat to find what can work. ⏰ If you are running late for a pick up or drop off, please let me know at least 15-20 minutes before the scheduled time. ❗️If your drop off or pick up time(s) change, please update this change in your schedule in the booking under “Modify booking” ❗️Ensure your pet is secured by a leash + harness or crate when entering and exiting my building ❗️I do not provide any food or supplies, but I may occasionally have some extra treats available to serve upon your approval ❌ Not a fit for: - Animals sensitive to unfamiliar noises (apartment noises include: people chatting in passing in the hallway, occasional door slamming, vacuuming in the hallway, the elevator being called) - Dogs who will bark if left alone - Cats that jump up on surfaces - If your pet is over 20lbs - If your pet has no ID (ex: microchip, tattoo or collar with tags) ROVER PLATFORM COST BREAKDOWN: Rover company: - Rover keeps 20% of quoted sitter rate + full booking fee - All tips go directly to the sitter; can be a maximum amount of 100% of the service rate for the sitter. Owners: - As a pet owner, you'll see an 11% service fee listed separately at checkout when you pay for the booking. This fee can't exceed $65. - Your service fee is added to the quoted rate. Ex. You're quoted $250 from the sitter rates; your service fee at checkout is $27.50. Your grand total is $277.50. - Use my sitter discount code if it's your first time on the platform to get $20 off. - Extended care rates: Clients will be required to select a pick-up and drop-off time range in their booking request. Rover will apply an Extended Care rate (per pet) if the client’s pick-up time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the drop-off time on the first day of the stay. This rate varies based on how much additional time the sitter provided extended care. If the extended care is more than 2 hours or up to 8 additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 50% of the sitter’s nightly rate. If the extended care is more than 8 additional hours, clients will pay an additional amount that is 100% of the sitter’s nightly rate. Sitters: - Keep 80% of the quoted rate - Get 100% of your tip - Ex. Quoted rate: $250; $250 x 80% = $200 profit + full tip amount - We are required to file our earnings with the CRA each year and pay tax on what we earned on the app; please tip if you can Please make sure to read through here and the “Details” tab for all required pet info and available services before reaching out, and ensure your payment information is up-to-date. Thanks in advance for being on time for our Meet ‘n Greet, pet pick up and drop off. Thank you for tipping when you can and leaving a review promptly after the booking is completed. Your tip helps me cover additional costs to keep my home pet friendly for a variety of animals (like cleaning supplies (including my mini carpet cleaner cleaning solution), air filters, Brita filters, poop bags, garbage bags, preparing my home in a customized way to make your pet comfy, time cleaning my suite during the booking, and afterwards), time during our Meet ‘n Greet in my home and/or other communication prior to the booking, time commuting to your home for on-site Meet ‘n Greets, drop-ins, walks, and house sitting, as well as current first aid training. Your 5-star review and detailed comments helps me get recognized publicly for the awesome work I do with your pet (like visible references), helps my page grow, and is super appreciated to be completed on the day of pick up. After 21 days from the day of pickup you’re not eligible to leave a review on the platform for a sitter, which is a bummer. As a Rover sitter I provide feedback about you and your fur baby for your public Rover pet parent & pet profiles which I always complete on the same day of pick up; the reciprocity is much appreciated. Thank you 🙏🏻 I’m a scent-free human: please make sure your home (for house sitting) and pet supplies (for boarding) are scent free. If I detect scent on your pet’s bedding in my home, I’ll simply bag it up and use the bedding I have available. I use positive reinforcement methods to work with your pet. I'm comfortable administering medication(s), supporting pets with special needs, high anxiety, those who are newly trained in commands, young puppies, kittens, or senior pets. I value transparency and relationship building with my clients so that they know their pet is in good hands. I love sending you photo updates of what your pet is up to while they're in my care….yes, you will get spammed :) I provide a minimum of 10 photo/video updates per day.
