This teacher loves some furbabies!
Hello I am a special education teacher. I have two small rescue furbabies - one here still with me and one in heaven recently. I was a foster dog parent for a local shelter for the abused dogs that were brought in and needed that extra care to heal that exceeded what the shelter could handle day to day. I have experience with several different breeds along with different temperaments. I love dogs sometimes more than humans lol and I believe they are truly a gift from God. I genuinely enjoy dogs and want to do this for fun to help others. I know the fear as a pet owner you can have leaving your fur baby with someone and I want to bring ease to those people. I look forward to meeting your furbabies! I also have a furbo camera that while I’m watching your dog I can give you video footage. I am used to administering medicine as one of my dogs has to take his daily. My own dogs are used to fostering dogs as well so new dogs don’t bother them. I have a fenced in yard for your furbabies to play in as well as a screened in porch where a dog house is for a rest break. I keep two fans and a heater for the porch when weather permits. I also have a pet ramp for my sofa and a covering on it so if they are used to being on furniture it’s ok. They have free reign of part of the house while the other part is blocked off so nothing is accidentally eaten and my eyes can be on them at all times.

Marianne and Ginger 🐾 watched my boys for 2 solid weeks while I had surgery and recovered. My boys are incredibly anxious and clingy about me, and one of them has a history of not eating while I’m gone. This is the longest I’ve ever been away from them in their 11 and 1/2 years. I think they would have been happy to stay longer. They were totally fine, no issues, and I received regular updates. Both Marianne and Ginger have incredible patience for my bossy boys. ❤️

Programa
During the week while I am teaching your dog can either be on my porch with the fenced in backyard, in the house, or crated. I can accommodate pretty much anything and I get off work at 3pm. Weekends I’ll be at home the whole time if I am dog sitting. For dog sitting away service if you live more than 25 mins. away from my house I do ask for $5 a day extra to cover gas to and from your house.

I love to watch dogs play and I already have a lot of dog toys and puzzles. I can take them on walks around the neighborhood. My fenced in backyard is one big play pin for them. I also have cameras on where I can watch my dogs during the day while I teach along with a furbo camera where I can talk to them and give treats.
