My pet sitting and doggie daycare blend seamlessly into our daily farm life, where dogs join the pack and thrive in the company of other pups. As natural pack animals, they enjoy social fun and play, from running together through open fields to splashing in water play areas. Our day includes feeding the cows, hayrides, and plenty of outdoor adventures that keep every dog engaged, happy, and feeling like part of the family. It’s a balanced, enriching experience designed to give them a taste of true ranch life!

We have a fenced play yard for new pups until they are ready to romp off leash and follow commands. We take walks to get out on adventures around the farm. We find many dogs love to dig so we provide opportunities for exploration while providing playtime enrichment activities and socialization. Dogs have the ability to go inside for rest when they are ready to curl up and relax. We have special theme retreat activities like splash n play in the pool and hayrides in the evening as we feed the cows in the winter. All activities are supervised while the dogs play.

Information Marianne & Danielle S. would like to know about your pet
Sharing key details about your pup helps me create the best experience for them. Here are a few important areas where your input is invaluable: 1. Energy Level • Is your dog high-energy, always ready to run and play, or do they prefer a more laid-back, relaxed pace? • Knowing their energy level helps us match them with playmates and activities that best suit their personality. 2. Socialization Experience • How does your pup interact with other dogs? Are they social butterflies who love making new friends, or are they a bit shy and need some gentle encouragement? • Let us know if they have any preferences or concerns around other dogs (e.g., size, breed, or temperament) so we can create a positive social environment. 3. Medical Needs • Does your dog have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they need during their stay? • Please share any mobility issues or dietary restrictions so we can accommodate their needs and ensure their safety. 4. Favorite Toys & Comfort Items • Are there any toys, blankets, or other comfort items your dog loves? Bringing familiar items can help them feel at home. • Let us know if they have specific toys they enjoy, like chew toys, squeakers, or balls for fetch, so we can include them in their playtime. 5. Training & Behavior • Are there any commands or training cues they respond to? (e.g., “sit,” “stay,” “come”) • Let us know if there are any behaviors or habits we should be aware of, such as barking, chewing, or leash pulling. 6. Special Preferences • Does your pup have any special preferences, like a favorite place to be scratched or a treat they can’t resist? • Any information you can provide helps us tailor their experience to make it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The more we know about your dog, the better we can ensure their stay at our Ranch is a safe, happy, and enriching adventure!
A typical day
A Typical Day at Doggie Dude Ranch: A Day in the Life of Your Pup I like making every day is an adventure for your furry friend! Here’s what a typical day looks like when your pup joins me at the ranch: Morning: The day begins with a warm welcome and plenty of tail wags as pups arrive between 9:00 - 11:00 AM. After a quick check-in, they join our ranch pack for a morning romp in our wide-open play areas. Pups are grouped by size, age, and temperament to ensure a fun and safe play environment. After some social time and exploring the ranch, we embark on a scenic nature walk around the property, giving your dog the chance to sniff, stretch, and enjoy the fresh countryside air. Midday: It’s lunchtime! For those staying with me for the day or overnight, we offer a relaxing break where they can enjoy their packed lunch (provided by you) or special treats. After a bit of downtime, it’s back to the fun with engaging activities like hayrides, splashing in the kiddie pools, or zooming down our custom slides. Afternoon: The afternoon brings more outdoor play and adventure, with games like fetch, tug-of-war, and exploring our sensory enrichment stations. For the pups who need a little extra exercise, we offer agility courses and one-on-one training sessions. Those who prefer a slower pace can lounge in the shade or enjoy cuddle time with our staff. Evening: As the day winds down, we make sure every dog gets plenty of love and attention before pickup time. If your pup is staying overnight, they’ll enjoy a hearty dinner, followed by a peaceful evening stroll. The day ends with cozy beds and soft music in our overnight cabin to help your dog relax and get a restful sleep. Whether your pup is with me for the day or staying for a longer retreat, I provide a unique blend of ranch-style fun, exercise, and relaxation. I ensure your furry friend gets plenty of socialization, care, and attention. I can’t wait to welcome your dog to experience a day at the ranch!

Reviews

We had a great experience with Marianne and Danielle S. They took good care of our dogs while we were out of town. I appreciated the video they sent us of our dogs while we were away, and the feedback they gave us on how our dogs did while at the ranch. We will be using them in the future.

Marianne took wonderful care of our puppies that the Doggie Dude Ranch. She and Danielle are amazing with the puppies and what they provide to them and the community. We will definitely be using them any time we are in the area. They have such love and passion for what they do.

Maryanne & Danielle were excellent! They were in contact with me twice a day keeping me informed of any concerns they had with my dogs & cats. They even found a loving home for my last surviving chicken, others were killed by a fox! I highly recommend them and we will certainly hire them again to care for our dogs & cats for our next trip out of town.

Marianne & Danielle were wonderful to my dog, Gracie! I will happily use them again.
