Safety, trust & environment

We always crate if we are not home to ensure their safety, but mostly they will have much of the house to make home. We also require a collar in case we need to be able to quickly grab them, to keep them safe. We never feed your pup anything that was not provided to us for them, so no bones, table scraps, etc. We also do not have any other pets in out home, so there is no potential. We are not taking pit bull breeds or German shepherds at this time for safety purposes.

Home

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 cats
Children 6-12 years old
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Marianne C. would like to know about your pet

A requirement is that your pup must have ample experience, and get along with small children & cats, as I have a 7 year old. If they are territorial in any way (marking/aggressive)? Are all their flee/tick treatments up to date, and are definitely bug free? If they are completely up to date with all their shots? We also require all sleep overs to have a crate during their stay. At this time I do not take any pit bull breeds or German shepherds for safety.

A typical day

We will be out for potty breaks/walks about 4 times a day for daycare, and will also go on a longer walk once everyday. We usually have play time in the early evening before we have dinner. It’s very common for us to bring the dogs along in weekend activities to hiking trails, harvest festivals, apple picking etc if they are able/fitting to their personality.

Let Me Love Your Baby! 30yrs Exp

Pet care experience

I have always had pets in my life, from the normal cats and dogs, to pygmy goats, iguanas, and tarantulas. I’ll be honest, the goats were the most entertaining! I do work from home, and only allow 1 fur-baby at a time to avoid conflicts, so your pup will be getting lots of love, staying safe, and given undivided attention while staying with me. This undivided attention is especially helpful if they are high anxiety or do not get along with other dogs. Please note, I do not take pit bull breeds or German shepherds for safety purposes. If they are staying the night, I bring them up into my room, so they don’t feel alone. Even though my profile says no sleeping on the bed... But I do break my own rules many times. ;) We will be their home away from home! I have a 7 year old daughter, so it is required that they get along, and if they are a bigger dog jumping is not allowed for her safety. Let’s have a meet & greet so we can love your fur baby. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I work from home, but do have some outside appointments, but the longest I would be out is 5 hours, and only happens 1-2 times a week. During this time I do require a crate to be used to make sure everyone and everything stays safe. They will have at least 5 potty breaks throughout the day, one being a longer walk in the near by woods down by the creek. I follow each dogs feeding schedule specified my the owner.

Marianne provided the perfect home away from home for my pup, who was very well cared over the couple of days she spent under her roof. I received lots of pics and videos and pupdates, and I know my dog would go back in a heartbeat! Can’t recommend Marianne highly enough.

She was incredible with Mellie! This was my first time using Rover and she made the whole experience so easy—super communicative, thoughtful, and reassuring the entire time. I felt totally at ease knowing Mellie was in good hands. Would 100% book again!
