I am a recent graduate from St. Olaf College, and plan to pursue a doctorate in veterinary medicine after a gap year or two. I've taken care of pets of all sorts for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10, and cared for my own animals for as long as I can remember. I have worked in a humane society and am comfortable working with all sorts of pets, of all shapes, sizes and ages. I have also worked in commercial kennel settings, with dogs with behavioral issues. I have experience cleaning up messes, providing enrichment, and administering medications, as well as caring for newborn and young puppies.

We were very happy Marianne could drop in with our boys on short notice. Her communication and care for the boys while at our home were great! We would definitely reach out to Marianne again for future needs.

Marianne is truly the best animal caretaker I know. She is committed to ensuring pets receive the enrichment and exercise they need, with ample attention and care that goes above and beyond. I've known her to care for dogs and cats, as well as small animals (gerbils, fish, etc) and she is confident and affectionate with them all. Marianne has worked at the humane society and a kennel and has experience with high energy and challenging animals as well as snuggly, chill sweethearts. For my pup, she has administered meds, provided for special dietary needs, and taken care of bathing and brushing. She's also meticulous about tidying up after the animals and herself when she housesits. I can't say enough positive things about Ari and her love of animals.
