Hi there! To start, here is a little about me: I am a senior biology student at CWU. Before moving to Ellensburg, I was a vet tech for two years in Cheney. And before that, I spent roughly 400 hours volunteering at two local animal shelters. Overall I have seven years of pet sitting and pet care experience apart from caring for my own animals. Throughout my years volunteering and working with animals, I have been trained on how to care for cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. This includes how to read and respond to their behavior, how to look out for injuries or illness, how to administer medications (oral, otic, and subdermal), and basic training. I pride myself on providing fear-free care while prioritizing your pet's health and wellbeing. I have found that patience and empathy can take me a long way when caring for an apprehensive or nervous animal.

I will go the extra mile for your pet's health and happiness! I love meeting pets where they are at. This can involve an extra long walk for an energetic dog, lots of playtime for a pet who can get bored easily, spending time going extra slow for a fearful pet, making sure that a leisurely senior dog potties before coming back in the house, or even carrying a senior cat to the sink for an extra drink. What your pet needs or enjoys, I will do my best to accommodate. I will also send you regular updates as frequently as you would like about how they are doing.

Marianne took such great care of our big dog Wally. She was always easy to get ahold of and sent us plenty of updates. During our meet and greet she made sure to ask all the important questions, which I appreciated because it’s hard to remember all the details. When we came home I could tell Wally had enjoyed his time with her. We will definitely be rebooking for any future house sitting needs.
Marianne really helped us out with a last minute dog sitting of our three fairly large and very active dogs and she was great with them. She was super reliable, made sure there were no questions left unasked about our pups care before we left, and was great about sending updates that showed our dogs were safe and having good time. Would def recommend and plan on using again.

Schedule
During our consultation we will go over expectations for frequency, length, and time of day for visits so we are both sure that I am able to meet your pet's needs. I strive to keep your pet's usual routines as much as possible.
