Hi! I’m Mari. I grew up surrounded by house and farm animals. I even went to vet school for a few years and I’ve been around animals ever since! I absolutely love all kinds of animals and currently live with my own dog in the canyon. With experience handling both small and large animals, I’m here to make sure your pets have a fantastic time while you’re away. Happy to give them the care and attention they deserve!

Marianna was a dream to have as a pet sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure our pets were well taken care of, happy and enriched. She didn’t just feed them and leave, she stayed to make sure they had cuddles and extra play time. She also was on time and very communicative. We would be honored to have Marianna watch our fur babies again in the future.

Mari is a wonderful, reliable and flexible animal lover! I was traveling in the Topanga area and Mari came on short notice to help me walk my dog so I could focus on work while I was visiting. Both my dogs liked her right away and couldn’t wait for her to come back the next day. I enjoyed getting to know Mari as she is a warm, intuitive and lovely person. I cannot recommend her enough for your animal care.

Marianna is the best pet caregiver I know! With her background in veterinary practices, love for all animals, and experience with puppies, elderly dogs, and adult dogs, she is without a doubt a dependable asset for your pup. I have a border collie x Aussie mix with an abundance of energy and is socially a little too forward and mari knows how to handle her super well — lots of playing, long walks, and just the right amounts of socialization. She sends photos all the time for updates and I know if there was ever an issue, Mari would be on top of it with the right care/action and keep me in the loop the entire time. She lives on a beautiful property too with LOTS of space for play time! You and your pooch will be well taken care of with Marianna!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced deck at my house that offers plenty of sunlight and outdoor space. While I don’t have a backyard, I’m surrounded by beautiful natural areas perfect for walks and exploring! I also have a crate at home and have spent most of my dog’s life training her to feel comfortable and happy in it. Just let me know how I can best accommodate your pet’s needs—I’m here to make them feel right at home!
Pets
A typical day
On a typical day, I wake up early and take my dog for a quick potty walk before coming home to make some coffee. Then, we head out for a long walk or even a hike. I’m an active person, and my pup is just as energetic—always ready to go! Of course, I’ll pay close attention to your pet’s needs. If they’re as active as we are, they’ll enjoy plenty of steps and playtime. But if they prefer a slower pace, taking their time to sniff every flower, I’m just as happy to birdwatch and relax alongside them.
