Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes — from playful puppies to wise senior dogs, as well as birds, reptiles, and more. I’ve volunteered as a dog walker at local shelters since I was 10, which helped me build calm, confident handling skills with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments — including larger dogs like Irish Setters, German Shepherds, and St. Bernards. My approach is gentle, respectful, and rooted in positive reinforcement — no shouting, just treats, praise, and patience. I'm comfortable caring for up to three dogs at a time, as long as they’re partially trained, and I have experience supporting nervous or anxious dogs (under 10kg) with a quiet, reassuring presence. While I can’t offer boarding (I have a cat at home who prefers her space!), I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I take pride in building trust with both pets and their people, and I’m always happy to accommodate your pet’s unique needs and routines. As a house sitter, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I keep things clean, tidy, and well looked after, and I'm happy to care for any plants while you're away. Since I work from home, I’m able to be present throughout the day to give your pets consistent attention and care. I always follow your routines and instructions closely, and I’m quick to communicate if anything unexpected comes up. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind while you're away.

Mariam was absolutely great! She sent us tons of photos of Paloma and ensured we were updated throughout the night. Our puppy absolutely loved her and was extremely comfortable around her. Absolutely recommend and will use her sitting services again!

She was an amazing catsitter, very caring and completely trustworthy. She kept me updated the whole time with photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My cat has a sensitive stomach, and she took great care of him. When we came back, he was calm, relaxed, and clearly very happy. I’ll definitely book her again!

Schedule
I work full-time from home, which allows me to offer flexible pet care during the week. I’m generally available on evenings and weekends as well — I just ask for a few days’ notice to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure I can plan my work meetings around your pet’s needs. In case of emergencies, I may be able to arrange something with families I’ve worked with before — just reach out, and I’ll do my best to help.
